Titre : Assistant Coach, Girls Tennis
Le poste d’Assistant Coach est proposé sous un contrat temporaire et non-exempt, et est soumis à des contributions de sécurité sociale.

Objectif du poste :
Ce rôle consiste à aider à concevoir et mettre en œuvre le programme sportif pour le tennis féminin, en conformité avec les réglementations en vigueur. L’assistant coach devra :

  • Superviser le personnel d’encadrement.
  • Veiller à la sécurité et au développement des étudiants athlètes.
  • Servir de modèle positif et liaison pour l’école.

Fonctions Essentielles

Les fonctions essentielles comprennent, mais ne se limitent pas à :

  • Analyse stratégique : Analyser les stratégies des adversaires pour préparer le plan de jeu.
  • Évaluation des athlètes : Fournir des retours sur les performances individuelles.
  • Participer à des réunions : Assister à divers ateliers pour échanger des informations.
  • Développement des pratiques : Concevoir des régimes de pratique adaptés aux besoins des athlètes.
  • Sécurité des installations : Évaluer les lieux pour identifier des risques potentiels.

Il est également attendu de l’Assistant Coach qu’il supervise les étudiants lors de toutes les activités liées au programme.

Qualifications Requises

Compétences et Connaissances :
Une connaissance technique est requise pour :

  • Appliquer des lois et des règlements pertinents.

Expérience :
Une expérience professionnelle pertinente avec un niveau de responsabilité croissant est exigée.

Éducation :

  • Au moins 60 heures de crédits universitaires complétés.
  • Un diplôme de Bachelor dans un domaine pertinent est préférable.
  • Certification d’enseignement de remplacement du Missouri est requise.

Environnement et Exigences Physiques

Le poste nécessite diverses capacités physiques, notamment :

  • Le port occasionnel d’objets lourds.
  • La nécessité de se déplacer sur le terrain, ce qui comprend 45 % de marche et 45 % de station debout.

📝 Description du poste : Job Description:Job Title: Assistant Coach, Girls TennisReports to: Site ADWork Schedule/FLSA Status: Temporary, Non-ExemptTenure Track: NoSocial Security Contribution: RequiredSalary: GRPGPurpose StatementThe job of Assistant Coach is done for the purpose/s of assisting in the designing and implementing the athletic program for the assigned sport, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations; providing supervision of other coaching personnel; providing supervision of students during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in overseeing program activities; serving as a positive role model to student athletes; and serving in a liaison capacity for the school and program with other schools both within and/or outside the district, to the community, and to various organizations.Essential Functions

  • Analyzes opposition’s strategies for game/event prior to and/or during athletic events as appropriate for the purpose of assessing the opposition’s strengths and weaknesses for developing game plan/approach.
  • Assesses student athletes for the purpose of providing feedback to students on their individual performance and/or determining team
  • Attends a variety of meetings, workshops, conferences, for the purpose of receiving and conveying information related to their role.
  • Assists with a variety of supporting activities (e.g. parent orientations, recognition events, banquets, ) for the purpose of providing information regarding the program and/or recognizing participants’ accomplishments.
  • Develops team and individual practice regimes for student athletes (e.g. strength, speed, agility, nutritional, injury prevention, ) for the purpose of enhancing and improving their performance.
  • Develops game strategies/plans for the purpose of preparing the team and individual student athletics for the c
  • Evaluates facility and playing field for potential hazards, inadequate equipment, for the purpose of implementing and/or assisting in making modifications or recommendations that would reduce the risk of injury.
  • Identifies program needs for the purpose of providing recommendations of expenditures for activities, equipment, supplies, that will enhance the assigned athletic program.
  • Identifies appropriate uses of program funding (e.g. school budget, booster clubs, athletic clubs, tax credit account, ) for the purpose of addressing program needs in compliance with state and district policies and practices.
  • Implements practice schedules and related events (e.g. usage of facilities and equipment, staff assignments, ) for the purpose of ensuring efficient program operation.
  • Instructs student athletes for the purpose of promoting individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and
  • Maintains a variety of records (e.g. game/student athlete statistics, insurance, signed permission forms, emergency information, schedules, equipment inventories, ) for the purpose of complying with district, athletic conference, state requirements and/or report scores and strategies.
  • Monitors student athletes’ academic eligibility for the purpose of both complying with AIA requirements as well as providing appropriate intervention (e.g. counseling, tutoring, ) to students identified as needing assistance to maintain their athletic eligibility.
  • Oversees student managers, volunteers, for the purpose of providing direction and monitoring activities.
  • Serves as the liaison for their athletic program at a variety of functions (e.g. AIA meetings, tournaments, workshops, ) for the purpose of representing the District at those functions.
  • Supervises student athletes during all areas of participation (e.g. competition, travel, meetings, practices, ) for the purpose of ensuring activities are conducted in an environment with minimal risk of injury to the participants.

Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThe usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 10% sitting, 45% walking and 45% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
