Description du poste : Who we are: Everton Football Club is one of world sport’s most respected and revered names – a by-word for innovation, professionalism and community.During the course of a glittering history spanning three centuries, the Club has been shaped and guided by its aspirational motto Nil Satis Nisi Optimum – nothing but the best is good enough.One of only three clubs to have been a founder member of both the Football League and Premier League, Everton has played more games in English football’s topflight than any other club.While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new stadium opening in summer 2025, under our new ownership.In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire and continue to compete at the highest level of the game.About the opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an U16s Head Coach to join our Everton Football Club Women’s Academy.As U16s Head Coach you will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and effective player development programme for the EFCW U16 Players Development, working closely with the Senior Manager – EFCW Academy to establish, implement, and manage, a comprehensive schedule and IDP’s framework supporting the player pathway to U21 squadYou will contribute towards creating a culture that maximises the talent of each club player in all aspects of the four-corner model and help with the design and delivery of all performance analysis requirements across the Academy.You will be required to work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the needs of all players are fully catered for, and to plan and deliver the coaching programme for the age group you lead to a high standard.Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within an elite football environment as well as experience of developing and delivering personalised training programmes to elite level athletes within the professional game at first team and/or under 21 level.Essentially, the successful candidate must hold a minimum UEFA B Licence, FA Advanced Youth Award and be able to demonstrate good practice when it comes to safeguarding children, contributing to our player-centred approach at the Academy.This position is on a permanent contract basis, working 40 hours per week.The closing date of this advert is Friday 13th June 2025 however, we reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a substantial amount of applications.Everton Family Safer Recruitment PracticesThe Everton Family is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.As a requirement of our safer recruitment practices, this role will require a Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or evidence that you are subscribed to the DBS Update Service information of which can be found hereThis role is subject to both evidence and verification of relevant qualifications including proof of eligibility to work in the UK which will be discussed with you if your application is successful.Equity & InclusionEverton is committed to ensuring everyone is respected, celebrated, and empowered for who they are, regardless of their identity.
