Résumé du poste : Le rôle d’Advanced Lead Design Engineer s’inscrit au sein des équipes de conception mécanique avancée. Il est responsable des activités de conception mécanique pour différents modules et composants des programmes de moteurs de nouvelle génération, ainsi que des démonstrateurs technologiques. Cela inclut la mise en œuvre des cycles de révision de conception, les publications matérielles et le soutien aux tests pour les rigs de démonstration technologique, ainsi que pour les moteurs destinés aux essais au sol et en vol.

Domaine d’intervention :

• Rotors : blisks, disques, arbres
• Structures : carters, cadres
• Systèmes de compression et turbine : pales, aubes, enveloppes

Ce poste offre une certaine autonomie tout en étant guidé par des politiques établies. La possibilité de modifier les procédures est offerte tant que les résultats finaux respectent des normes d’acceptabilité en termes de qualité, volume et délais.

Responsabilités du Poste

Le candidat sera amené à :

• Concevoir des pièces pour des programmes de démonstration technologique en exécutant des évaluations de conception au niveau des composants et de l’assemblage.
• Collaborer efficacement avec des équipes mondiales sur la conception de modules et de composants.
• Participer à des routines de gestion quotidienne et aux activités de travail standard alignées sur des indicateurs de performance clés (KPI).
• Établir des plans de projet en collaboration avec la direction technique.
• Consigner les leçons tirées pour assurer une amélioration continue.

Candidat Idéal

Un candidat idéal doit posséder :

• Une expérience avérée dans l’industrie aéronautique avec des compétences en gestion de projet.
• Une excellente communication, des capacités de résolution de problèmes et une approche proactive.

Qualifications Requises :

• BSc et/ou MSc en ingénierie mécanique, aéronautique ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Minimum de 8 ans d’expérience en ingénierie de conception de composants.
• Maîtrise de l’anglais écrit et parlé.
• Compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes démontrées.
• Familiarité ou capacité à apprendre des outils de modélisation et de simulation CAD.
• Excellentes aptitudes à la coordination et à la communication interfonctionnelle.

Qualifications Préférées :

• Expérience en design mécanique dans des secteurs connexes.
• Connaissance des différentes plateformes et architectures de moteurs.
• Capacités créatives et flexibilité dans des environnements dynamiques.

• Execute the design of parts in technology demonstrator programs leading/performing component/assembly level design assessments for engine hardware in accordance with the required best practices
• Work closely/efficiently with global teams performing module and component level design adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product/program requirements
• Contribute and adhere to daily management routine, standard work activities and work aligned with KPIs
• Working closely with technical leadership, develop a project plan establishing work packages, milestones, objectives in accordance with program schedule
• Document lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement

The Ideal CandidateAn ideal candidate has proven experience in the aerospace industry with a strong project management skillset. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to achieving results in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications

• BSc and/or MSc in Mechanical or Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least 8 years of experience in mechanical component design engineering
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated skills, familiarity or ability to learn CAD modelling and simulation tools
• Strong cross-functional teaming, coordination and communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter who is passionate about inventing the next generation of aviation technology
• Demonstrated accountability, ownership skills and diligence in meeting commitments within tight and fluctuation schedules
• Ability to guide and influence others

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical design experience in relevant industry positions (aviation, defense, automative, energy, home appliances, etc)
• Knowledge of different engine platforms and architectures, able to make meaningful benchmarking to leverage
