Description du poste

Ce poste d’Advanced Practice Provider est soumis à l’attribution d’un contrat. IHMS recherche un professionnel expérimenté pour fournir des soins médicaux de haute qualité, englobant évaluations, diagnostics et plans de traitement. Le titulaire travaillera en collaboration avec une équipe multidisciplinaire pour assurer des soins complets, défendre les intérêts des patients et respecter les normes réglementaires en vigueur au sein de l’établissement.

Responsabilités clés

Les responsabilités attribuées au poste incluent mais ne se limitent pas à :

  • Pratique conforme : Exercer en tant qu’assistant médical ou infirmier praticien en respectant les critères et les procédures établis.
  • Soins de qualité : Fournir des soins médicaux répondant aux politiques de l’agence.
  • Évaluations complètes : Réaliser des évaluations physiques, des soins de santé comportementale et des procédures chirurgicales mineures.
  • Coordination des soins : Gérer les besoins de santé des patients et coordonner les références vers des consultants externes.
  • Contrôle des infections : Appliquer des actions de contrôle des infections conformément aux directives du client.
  • Éducation des patients : Fournir des informations sur la santé de manière compréhensible, y compris via des supports écrits.
  • Documentation : Enregistrer les visites des patients dans les dossiers médicaux requis.

Qualifications requises

Exigences de base :

  • Licence actuelle et non restreinte dans un État des États-Unis ou dans une région associée.
  • Quatre ans d’expérience clinique à temps plein comme PA ou NP.
  • Certification en RCP de base par l’American Heart Association.

Formation :

  • Pour PA : Diplôme de maîtrise ou de licence dans un programme accrédité et certification nationale.
  • Pour NP : Diplôme en pratique avancée et certification par un organisme reconnu.

Connaissances, compétences et capacités souhaitées

  • Connaissance des politiques clients, des exigences en matière de santé publique, de la gestion des infections.
  • Certification ACLS préférée.

Exigences physiques

Les conditions de travail peuvent être considérées comme des missions dangereuses. Il est donc nécessaire de pouvoir :

  • Se déplacer sans assistance pendant jusqu’à 5 minutes.
  • Effectuer des soins d’urgence, tel que la RCP.
  • Soulever des objets de plus de 30 livres.

Conditions supplémentaires

  • Avoir au moins 21 ans et être citoyen des États-Unis ou titulaire d’une résidence permanente.
  • Réussir un examen médical et une enquête de sécurité.

This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, patient advocacy, and adherence to regulatory standards within the facility.Key Responsibilities

  • A physician assistant or nurse practitioner who practices in conformance with established criteria, guidelines, and agency procedures. Efforts are directed toward the enhancement of the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals.
  • Provides health care of a scope, quality, and quantity consistent with agency and policies.
  • Performs comprehensive history and physical evaluations, behavioral health care, and minor outpatient surgical procedures for patients as required by client policy, or as required for patient medical complaint.
  • Coordinates health care needs of patients including referrals to off-site consultants.
  • Takes appropriate infection control actions in accordance with client policy and guidance.
  • Completes all training as required/assigned.
  • Attends on-site, regional, and national meetings as required.
  • Participates in the APP Peer Review process.
  • Provides direct care to patients via scheduled appointments, emergency, or urgent care visits.
  • Consults with the physician / Clinical Director for complex medical and/or psychiatric patients and as required by client policy.
  • Provides infirmary care including admission, discharge, and daily rounds for patients that require higher levels of medical care or monitoring.
  • Works within and performs functions as outlined in the client Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Scope of Practice and the Controlled Prescribing Scope of Practice for APPs.
  • Applies knowledge of drugs and therapeutics when prescribing medication.
  • Interprets diagnostic and laboratory results.
  • Interprets Tuberculin skin tests (TSTs) and diagnostic studies, manages Direct Observation Therapy (DOT) for treatment of active or latent tuberculosis.
  • Adheres to universal precautions and properly disposes of all sharps.
  • May serve as medical escort of patients as needed, for domestic/overseas travel.
  • Utilizes and documents interpretation and/or translation and/or assisted communication services as needed to ensure ability to communicate with patients or others who are Limited English Proficient (LEP) or have a communication disability or impediment.
  • Maintains flexibility and adaptability to sudden changes in schedules and work requirements.
  • Provides relevant patient health education to patients verbally and/or with handouts.
  • Documents patient care visits in the required health record using required format, in compliance with client policy and guidance.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and confidentiality of medical records.
  • Completes all training as required/assigned.
  • Serves as Acting Senior Supervisory APP or Acting Regional APP.
  • Facilitates and mentors APP onboarding and training.

  • Must possess a current, unrestricted licensed by a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or territory of the United States.
  • Four 4 years of full-time clinical experience as a PA or NP required or approval of the client Medical Director.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Physician Assistant (PA) –
  • An accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree is required.
  • Must have completed a physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), national certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) –
  • Must possess a certified advance practice nurse practitioner degree from a graduate school training program approved for this qualifying degree.
  • National board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC)required.
  • Employees shall have at least one year of general experience that demonstrates the following:
  • The ability to greet and deal tactfully with the public.
  • Capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules, and regulations. All personnel shall be literate and be able to interpret printed rules and regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials, and must be able to compose reports.
  • Good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and render satisfactory performance through knowledge of his/her position responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress, such as fires, explosions, civil disturbances, and building evacuations.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with client policies, NCCHC and PBNDS requirements.
  • Knowledge of public health preparedness, infection control and TB management
  • ACLS certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is considered hazardous duty.
  • Required to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to 5 minutes and maintain balance.
  • Required to jog/fast walk up to ¼ mile.
  • Requires physical exertion such as lifting objects greater than 30 pounds.
  • Required to perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling.
  • Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging patients or staff exiting the building (may require lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying someone who weighs significantly more than self).
  • Must be able to see, hear and smell with aids if necessary.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds.
  • Must perform the duties of my job in a stressful and often austere environment without physical limitations.
  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Average manual dexterity for computer operation.
  • Phone or computer use for extended periods of time.

Other Special Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must maintain current/physical residency in the continental U.S.
  • Pass a medical examination conducted by a licensed physician within 30 days prior to initial assignment.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the U.S. for permanent residence.
  • Have resided in the U.S. for the last five years (unless abroad on official U.S. government duty).
  • Successfully engage in and complete a thorough Background Investigation.
  • Poses or have ability to obtain required security clearances.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Additional InformationPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.Compensation: Min: $53/hr Max: $89/hrBenefits – Full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
