*Le rôle d’Adviser – Crown Entity Monitoring* est une opportunité permanente au sein du groupe *Investment and Monitoring* du Ministère des Transports. Ce poste a pour objectif d’améliorer les pratiques de surveillance des entités de la Couronne.
Missions principales :
- Apporter des changements significatifs dans la surveillance des entités de la Couronne.
- Contribuer à la performance des entités et à la gestion des relations avec quatre entités de la Couronne.
- Conseiller le ministre sur les nominations et les honoraires des conseils d’administration pour les entités de la Couronne.

Compétences Requises
Pour exceller dans ce poste, le candidat idéal devra posséder :
- Une expérience dans la surveillance des entités de la Couronne ou la gestion de la performance.
- Une capacité avérée à produire des documents d’information et à rédiger des correspondances ministérielles.
- Des compétences en analyse financière et une bonne maîtrise des chiffres.
- Des qualités relationnelles solides et une expérience en gestion de projets.
- Une compréhension de la gouvernance d’entreprise sera un atout supplémentaire.

The Ministry’s values are integrity, excellence, and collaboration.About the opportunity | Ngā whakamārama mō te tūngaThe Crown Entity Monitoring team is one of five teams within the Investment and Monitoring Group. The purpose of the team is to be the Ministry’s lead adviser in supporting the Minister of Transport to oversee and manage the Crown’s interests in, and relationship with four Crown entities:
- New Zealand Transport Agency, Waka Kotahi,
- Maritime New Zealand,
- Civil Aviation Authority, and
- Transport Accident Investigation Commission
The team also advises the Minister on the board appointments and fees for the four Crown entities, as well as bespoke Crown companies such as City Rail Link (CRL) Ltd.As our Adviser you will provide and contribute to high quality, well-researched and reasoned advice on entity performance, contribute to advice on delivery and system issues that impact entity performance, and support Board appointments.Based on the work or support that may be required, this position is Wellington based only.What you’ll bring | Te wāhi ki a koeYou will bring commercial experience, and:
- Experience in Crown Entity Monitoring, policy development, performance management or other experience that would deliver impact in the role
- Experience in the provision of briefing papers and writing ministerial correspondence would be an advantage
- Strong numerical ability – financial analysis an advantage
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong relationship skills
- Experience in managing and delivery projects
- A grasp of corporate governance will also be an advantage.
