Titre du poste : First Line Operational Risk and Control Manager

Ce rôle essentiel consiste à exploiter des connaissances spécialisées pour identifier les risques dans l’environnement global du trading et évaluer l’efficacité des contrôles en place. Le candidat collaborera avec divers acteurs pour naviguer dans un paysage complexe et renforcer les pratiques d’assurance au sein de l’entreprise.

Responsabilités

• *Implémentation et maintenance* du cadre de gestion des risques au sein de la première ligne de défense (1LOD).
• Formation et collaboration avec les collègues de la 1LOD pour garantir la conformité à ce cadre.
• *Conduite de tests* pour prouver l’efficacité des contrôles et assurer la gestion proportionnée des risques.
• Investigations approfondies sur les événements de risque opérationnel pour identifier les défaillances et mesurer leur impact.
• *Évaluation des risques émergents* en réponse à des changements internes ou externes.
• Développement et mise en œuvre de nouvelles méthodes de contrôle améliorées.
• Rédaction de rapports de qualité mettant en lumière les causes des problèmes avec des actions correctives définies.
• Responsabilité du processus d’audit et suivi des actions correctives jusqu’à leur clôture.

Profil Recherché

*Qualifications requises :*

• *CA(SA)*
• Expérience significative en audits technologiques.
• Minimum de cinq à huit ans d’expérience dans le secteur des services financiers.
• Connaissances en gestion des risques au sein d’un environnement financier.
• Compétences en gestion des parties prenantes.

• Implement and maintain the Bank’s risk management framework across the First Line of Defense (1LOD) within wider bank operations, working closely with 2LOD colleagues to achieve this.
• Collaborate with and train 1LOD colleagues to ensure that the Bank’s risk management framework is understood and adhered to, providing support where needed.
• Lead testing and evidencing of control effectiveness to give assurance that the risks are controlled in a proportionate way.
• Conduct detailed investigations on operational risk events, to accurately identify breakdowns and resultant risk, and to understand the extent of the impact.
• Identify and assess new or emerging risks as internal activities or the external environment changes.
• Develop, introduce and implement both new and enhanced control methods to improve the risk environment, making use of local and global leading practices.
• Act in alignment with operational risk management frameworks to reactively and proactively manage risk, over and above engaging in the relevant risk reporting.
• Draft high-quality reports with observations which are insightful, addressing the root cause, have agreed actions that mitigate the risk and facilitate the remediation of issues until closure.
• Oversee relevant regulatory reporting and monitoring, ensuring processes are current and take accountability for the production of regulatory reporting within timeframes when contacted by the regulator.
• Manage the audit process, facilitating audit visits, information requests and tracking outstanding actions to completion and ensuring all assurance findings are closed
• Manage tasks and performance of any direct reports

You will be an ideal candidate if you have the following: * Must be a CA(SA)

• Have experience with Technology Audits
• Minimum of five to eight years of experience in Financial Services and / or Banking industry
• Management experience gained in a Financial Services regulated organization,
• Experience of risk management within a financial environment.
• Ability to demonstrate effective stakeholder management.
