Old Mutual, acteur majeur en Afrique du Sud, recrute un Chief Risk & Sustainability Officer pour faire avancer sa stratégie de risque et de durabilité dans un environnement commercial complexe. Le candidat retenu sera chargé de superviser l’implémentation de la stratégie de risque au sein de l’OMI, en répondant aux besoins stratégiques de l’entreprise tout en gérant les risques identifiés.
Cette position exige une *responsabilité individuelle* pour le résultat à travers une équipe sous supervision pendant des périodes allant jusqu’à trois ans.
Responsabilités Clés
- Modélisation de Scénarios de Risque : Mettre en place des scénarios pour soutenir la stratégie commerciale en identifiant et en atténuant les risques.
- Formation et Mise en Œuvre de Stratégie : Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies anticipant les défis complexes.
- Représentation Corporelle : Représenter Old Mutual lors de forums professionnels et maintenir des relations avec les parties prenantes.
- Conseil Informatif : Offrir des conseils experts à l’équipe de direction pour guider l’implémentation de politiques.
- Engagement des Parties Prenantes : Identifier et gérer les besoins des parties prenantes, notamment à un niveau supérieur.
- Responsabilité Sociale de l’Entreprise : Gérer des politiques de responsabilité sociale stratégique.
- Gestion de la Performance : Évaluer et rapporter sur la performance de la fonction ou de l’entreprise concernée.
- Construction de Capacités Organisationnelles : Identifier et développer les capacités nécessaires pour répondre aux besoins émergents.
- Gestion des Risques Organisationnels : Élaborer et appliquer des politiques de gestion des risques et de contrôle.
Exigences et Compétences
Le candidat idéal devra posséder un Bachelor de Commerce Honours en Gestion des Risques (NQF Niveau 9 – Masters) et démontrer des compétences en :
- Analyse des exigences commerciales
- Gestion du changement
- Communication orale efficace
- Engagement des parties prenantes
- Élaboration de politiques
Des compétences en gestion de la performance et planification stratégique sont également essentielles pour le succès dans ce rôle.

📝 Description du poste : Let’s Write Africa’s Story Together!Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this.Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for facilitating, co-ordinating and overseeing the implementation of the OMI risk strategy and enterprise risk management disciplines within a large and/or complex area of business, and also monitors, escalates and reports material risks, events and issues to the OMEM Risk and Actuarial Director, Chief Risk Officer or designate, with the primary objectives of contributing to the overall success and achievement of the business objectives. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through staff supervised over periods of up to 3 years.Responsibilities:Risk Scenario ModelingUndertake strategic and tactical risk modeling and scenario planning for business-critical decisions to support business strategy and to identify and mitigate risk in line with the risk appetite. Advise on modeling of risk scenarios to comply with the risk appetite.Strategy Formation and ImplementationDevelop the strategy for a significant area of responsibility, such as a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities. Ensure the strategy is successfully implemented and meets medium-term business needs.Corporate RepresentationRepresent the organization or institution in a variety of industry, institutional, and/or professional forums, boards and committees, in order to promote the company or institution brand or efforts. Represent the organization in external relations with investors, clients, industry, partners, the public and others. Focus is on a specific area of the organization, such as a function or department.
