This may include packaging, filling, formulation assistance, or housekeeping. Candidates are well-driven self-starters who can work with a close-knit team to efficiently meet the customer’s demand.Key Skills and Abilities Include:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience requiredWillingness to operate material handling equipment, including forklift and other equipment, as requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Manual dexterity must be able to be on your feet for long periods and must be able to work in a production environmentAble to follow written and verbal directions and complete the necessary documentation. The ability to read and write English is requiredWilling to work overtime hours as neededKey Personal Attributes Include:Driven; self-motivatedCustomer-focusedTeam playerStrong sense of integrity and accountabilitySpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Set up line according to production scheduled production jobInspect all materials for cleanliness and integrity. Report any issues before processingBlend materials in the assigned mixer according to the workflowDocumentation as required in all aspects of job dutiesLearn and train all roles required at the plant (mixing, bagging, forklift, container loading, etc.)Operate processing equipment as outlined in SOPsMaintain facility cleanliness throughout all operationsPerform Quality Control while handling productsAccurately document tasks performed (processing, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)Responsible for reporting safety/food safety problems to management, up to and including stopping a production lineMaintain all current training.Comply with all Food Safety Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, FDA and OSHA guidelines, as well as Federal and State laws governing the workplace.Able to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlookComply with all Food Safety Guidelines, Ameri-Pac work rules, Ameri-Pac Standard Operating Procedures, FDA and OSHA guidelines, and federal and state laws governing the workplace.Perform any other duties assigned by management professionally and efficiently.Follow all safety, regulatory, and administrative policies and proceduresAble to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlookPerform any other duties assigned by management professionally and efficientlyCompensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $15.96 – $21.28 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
