En tant qu’AIT Production & Verification System Engineer, vous jouerez un rôle central en assurant la fiabilité et la préparation pour le vol des satellites. Votre travail consistera à garantir que chaque satellite satisfait aux normes techniques, de qualité et de préparation à la mission. Ce poste est crucial, surtout lors du développement d’une nouvelle génération de satellites.

Responsabilités Principales

• Participer depuis le début du projet jusqu’à la fin du cycle de vie des satellites.
• Représenter les besoins de production lors de la phase de conception.
• Supporter et préparer des revues de conception majeures : PDR, CDR, PRR.
• Assurer un transfert adéquat de la connaissance technique aux équipes de production.
• Collaborer avec des équipes interdisciplinaires pour examiner les interfaces et les interactions systèmes.
• Diriger les tests complets des satellites, incluant : performance thermique, conception de harnais, compatibilité électromagnétique (EMC).
• Proposer des améliorations dans les processus de testing et d’intégration.
• Agir en tant que leader technique dans les discussions de projet.
• Définir la couverture de test, valider les configurations satellites et résoudre des problèmes d’intégration au niveau système.
• Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des pratiques de conception, de test et d’intégration.

Profil Requis

Compétences et Qualifications :

• Formation d’ingénieur (discipline flexible).
• Plus de 7 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie spatiale, idéalement avec une expérience directe des satellites.
• Expérience en ingénierie système ou responsabilités au niveau système.
• Connaissance solide des tests environnementaux pour les satellites.
• Expérience pratique en assemblage, intégration et test (AIT) de satellites ou systèmes complexes.
• Connaissance des méthodes de vérification des systèmes.
• Expérience de travail dans un environnement de production à haute fiabilité, en collaboration avec des équipes d’ingénierie.
• Capacité à définir et à suivre les niveaux de préparation de fabrication (MRLs).
• Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes pour traiter les enjeux d’intégration au niveau système.

In this role, you will be the key link between the Engineering and Production teams. As our production rates increase, this position becomes even more important to ensure every satellite we build is reliable, fully tested, and ready for space.You will be responsible for making sure each satellite meets our technical, quality, and mission-readiness standards, not just as individual parts, but as a complete and functioning spacecraft. This role is especially important when we are developing a new generation of satellites, where a dedicated AIT engineer is needed from the start.What will you do in this role?

• Be involved from the start of the project through the entire satellite generation lifecycle

Represent production needs during the design phase, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and feasible on the production floor

• Support and prepare for key design reviews including:
• Preliminary Design Review (PDR)
• Critical Design Review (CDR)
• Production Readiness Review (PRR)

• Ensure proper handover of technical knowledge and documentation to production teams
• Collaborate daily with teams across all subsystems, reviewing interfaces and system interactions
• Lead full satellite testing, including:
• Thermal performance
• Harness design
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
• Overall system integration and behavior

• Drive improvements in testing and integration processes to reflect real-life conditions and achieve high production maturity (MRL9)
• Act as a technical leader in project discussions, guiding interface and design decisions from early phases
• During production, define test coverage, validate satellite configurations, and resolve system-level integration issues
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuously improve satellite design, testing, and integration practices

RequirementsWhat will you need to be successful in this role?

• An engineering background (specific discipline is flexible)
• 7+ years of experience in the space industry, ideally with direct satellite experience
• Prior systems engineering experience or involvement in system-level responsibilities
• Solid understanding of the main environmental tests for satellites and how they are conducted

• Strong understanding of satellite systems and how different subsystems interact at the spacecraft level
• Hands-on experience in Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of satellites or complex hardware systems
• Solid knowledge of system verification methods, including functional, environmental, and EMC testing
• Experience working with or across engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment
• Familiarity with engineering design reviews (PDR, CDR) and production readiness reviews (PRR)
• Ability to define and track Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs) and push toward production maturity
• Good grasp of configuration management and test documentation (EIDP, procedures, NCRs, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve system-level issues across hardware, software, and integration
