This role is a unique opportunity to learn about the complex European Regulatory landscape and challenges across European markets for payments institutions, learn about our business model across Europe and learn to manage risks in a changing environment.This is a new position to bolster the recently created Legal Entity Regulatory Reporting team, which has the responsibility to oversee the successful delivery of all regulatory reporting obligations in scope. This position will have a focus on the Issuing and Acquiring Spanish Legal Entities (LEs) AEESA & AEPE.How will you make an impact in this role?The ideal candidate will have an exceptional ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, demonstrate extreme attention to detail, and show strong autonomy in identifying and addressing regulatory risks impacting the acquiring business. Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with compliance, legal, technologies and data teams to provide E2E oversight of new intakes and confirm generated reports meet regulatory standards with precision and timeliness
  • Coordinate internal teams regarding the production and submission of the reports, exercising strong prioritization and multitasking skills to balance competing deadlines and responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate project roadblocks, ensuring project timelines and objectives are achieved.
  • Lead regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress, identify areas of concern, and drive decision-making, while managing expectations and building trust across departments
  • Conduct thorough reviews of reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address unexpected tasks and minimize disruption to project schedules, while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and critical thinking to propose new solutions to enhance the department’s efficiency, improve reporting processes, methodologies, and document regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Work alongside the team to oversee successful delivery of AEPE adn AEESA regulatory reporting obligations inventory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines.
  • Extreme attention to detail and analytical rigor; skilled at interpreting data to support informed decision-making
  • Demonstrated autonomy in identifying regulatory risks and coordinating proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Proficiency in Excel is required. Prior experience in the acquiring business, managing reporting processes, or compliance background will be valuable .
  • Strong stakeholder management experience; excel at building relationships and managing cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable working independently, while also thriving in collaborative, dynamic team environments
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional European languages will be a plus.
