Présentation Générale

Le CINTAL – Centre de Recherche Technologique de l’Algarve, en partenariat avec l’Université de l’Algarve, ouvre un appel à candidatures pour l’attribution d’une bourse de recherche à des étudiants de premier cycle ou équivalents. Cette initiative vise à soutenir le développement d’activités de recherche et développement, particulièrement dans le cadre du projet intitulé “Hippocampal Algebraic Modelling for Simultaneous Localization and Mapping Underwater Applications” (HSLAM_Uapp), situé au sein du SiPLAB (Signal Processing Laboratory).

Détails du Projet

La mission principale consiste à explorer la modélisation algébrique de la formation hippocampique du cerveau, à savoir sa capacité à réaliser la localisation et la cartographie simultanées. Ce projet s’appuie sur les dernières observations en neurosciences, notamment le comportement des cellules de direction, de grille et de lieu, avec pour objectif ultime de développer des cartes cognitives artificielles applicables à des technologies de localisation et de cartographie sous-marine.

Critères d’Éligibilité

Pour être éligible, le candidat doit respecter les exigences suivantes :

  • Être inscrit dans un cursus supérieur reconnu, qu’il s’agisse d’un diplôme de premier cycle, d’un master intégré ou d’un certificat de formation technique supérieure.
  • Ne pas avoir déjà bénéficié d’une bourse de recherche financée par la FCT (Fondation pour la Science et la Technologie).
  • La cumul des bourses ne doit pas dépasser une durée d’un an, que cela soit de manière continue ou intermittente.

Compétences Requises

Les candidats doivent maîtriser les langages de programmation suivants : Matlab, Java, R. Ces compétences seront essentielles pour le développement et la mise en œuvre des applications de recherche.

Conditions Financières

La bourse propose une allocation mensuelle de 651,12 €, conformément au tableau des valeurs de bourses de la FCT. Les paiements sont effectués par virement bancaire à la fin de chaque mois. De plus, une assurance accidents personnels est incluse, et les boursiers peuvent opter pour une assurance sociale volontaire.

Processus de Sélection

La sélection se fait selon les méthodes suivantes :

  • Notes du dernier diplôme (60 %)
  • Curriculum Vitae (15 %)
  • Lettre de motivation exposant les intérêts de recherche (25 %)

En cas de besoin d’éclaircissements supplémentaires, les trois meilleurs candidats peuvent être appelés à un entretien, où la pondération évoluera comme suit :

  • Notes (50 %)
  • Évaluation du CV (20 %)
  • Entretien (30 %)
