Le Poste : Application Engineer
L’ingénieur applications intégré à l’équipe Industrial Power Systems (IPS) aura pour mission d’élargir le portefeuille actuel de dispositifs d’alimentation d’ADI. Ce rôle inclut l’innovation de nouvelles fonctionnalités de contrôle et de protection, afin de répondre aux besoins émergents des systèmes à forte puissance.
Les Responsabilités
- Conception, test bench, et débogage de circuits électroniques, incluant un support technique tout au long du cycle de vie du produit.
- Développement de guides d’utilisateur, fiches techniques, et autres documents de référence pour les produits.
- Engagement client pour la définition de nouveaux produits, incluant des évaluations et des plans de test rigoureux.
- Support pour les produits existants destiné aux ingénieurs d’applications de terrain et aux clients.
- Création de modèles de conception et d’outils de simulation.
- Rédaction technique, présentations, et formations.
Compétences Requises
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome sur les circuits d’applications de produits d’alimentation.
- Excellentes compétences en communication avec une aptitude à travailler en équipe pluridisciplinaire.
- Expérience avec des outils de capture de schémas, de design de PCB, et de simulation.
- Expérience pratique avec du matériel de laboratoire.
Qualifications Minimales
- Diplôme d’honneur en ingénierie électrique/électronique ou domaine similaire.
- Plus de 4 années d’expérience dans l’industrie des semi-conducteurs, de préférence avec une spécialisation en alimentation.

Within this role the Applications Engineer may support multiple products and priorities within the power protection and isolated power products.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and communications capabilities, providing development and technical support.The role includes creating reference designs that are used to promote the company’s products, instructs and supports customers working on products to guarantee the success of the customer’s system.The role includes supporting the customers through the entire design process with technical expertise, reference designs, development tools, documentation, debug, and design support.Description of Job/ Duties and Responsibilities:In the role of Applications Engineer, your immediate responsibilities include:
- Design, bench testing and debugging of electronic circuits including troubleshooting support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues in support of FAE’s and customers.
- Work on developing user guides, datasheets, and reference material for products.
- Customer engagement on new product definition
- Performing thorough new product evaluations and test plans.
- Supporting existing products for field applications engineers and customers.
- Developing design and simulation models, tools, and circuits such as with LTspice.
- Provide technical writing, presentations, and trainings.
- Play an active role within development teams acting as a customer advocate to help ensure teams make informed decisions.
Required Skills:
- Ability to working independently on application circuits of power products.
- Require excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB design and simulation tools.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment.
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to communicate clearly with applications, marketing, field sales engineers, and customers is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferred Qualifications: Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Electronic & Computer Engineering or similar.
- 4+ years plus semiconductor industry experience with a power background an advantage.
