Ce poste permet de développer ses compétences sur une période de 4 ans, avec la possibilité d’être promu à un emploi permanent en tant que maître de conférences. Duties – Attentes vis-à-vis de vous

En tant que professeur assistant, vous serez amené à vous concentrer sur des questions de recherche stimulantes et à développer vos compétences en enseignement. Vous participerez à la recherche, à l’enseignement, et vous établirez des contacts avec des acteurs sociaux externes. Vous contribuerez à la dynamique du département de sociologie du droit, participant à des projets axés sur l’utilisation des normes et institutions juridiques pour favoriser des changements sociaux et politiques.

Qualifications requises

Le candidat doit détenir un doctorat ou avoir une expertise de recherche équivalente dans le domaine de la sociologie du droit, ou dans des sciences sociales pertinentes. Les candidatures sont principalement réservées aux candidats ayant obtenu leur doctorat dans les 5 dernières années, sauf exceptions justifiées (congés parentaux, maladie).

Les candidats doivent avoir :

  • Une capacité avérée à initier, développer et mettre en œuvre un projet de recherche de haute qualité.
  • Des compétences pédagogiques avérées.
  • Une expérience de recherche pertinente dans les domaines du droit, des droits et des mouvements sociaux.
  • Un plan de projet de recherche illustrant un projet innovant dans la sociologie du droit.
  • Des compétences en communication excellentes, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, en anglais.
  • Un engagement à apprendre le suédois et à lire des travaux d’étudiants dans cette langue après deux ans d’emploi.

Promotion – Conditions pour être promu au poste de Maître de Conférences

Un professeur assistant peut postuler à une promotion en tant que maître de conférences après évaluation de ses compétences en recherche et en enseignement. Les critères d’évaluation incluent des publications internationales, la capacité à décrocher des financements externes, et une participation active au développement académique et organisationnel.

To qualify as a senior lecturer, you will need to develop your teaching skills during your time as an assistant professor, practice Swedish, contribute to a collegial work environment and show an ability to engage with the wider community. And, of course, you will also participate in the department’s everyday work and development.At the Department of Sociology of Law, you will primarily work with research, teaching and contacts with social stakeholders outside the university. You will work closely with the research groups at the department that investigate how societal actors mobilize legal norms and institutions to bring about social and political change. Several research environments at the department explore the connection between legal regulation and social and political mobilization in areas such as mobilization for climate justice, legal mobilization and migration, mobilization for restorative justice and indigenous peoples, mobilization through legal arenas (such as court hearings).Qualifications for employment as an associate senior lecturerYou hold a doctoral degree or have corresponding research expertise in sociology of law, law, social sciences or other subject considered relevant by the employer. Relevant experience from research in law, rights and social movements in global and local contexts outside Sweden. A project plan illustrating an innovative project within sociology of law, describing what research you intend to pursue within the scope of the position. Documented good leadership skills, e.g. through elected office assignments, leadership courses and assessed leadership skills be verified by reference check.
