Objectif du poste :
Le rôle d’expert en architecture de solutions B2B chez STC requiert une expertise technique approfondie dans la conception et l’ingénierie d’infrastructures et d’applications. L’objectif principal est d’assurer la continuité des opérations commerciales tout en minimisant les risques techniques et opérationnels.

Responsabilités clés

Conception de l’infrastructure :

• Contribuer aux processus de planification et de budgétisation, en établissant des exigences de développement futur et des estimations de coûts.
• Formuler des directives de conception pour l’équipe d’ingénierie.
• Conseiller sur l’approche de conception de l’infrastructure et la stratégie tactique.
• Auditer les menaces à la sécurité réseau et prendre des mesures d’escalade appropriées.
• Assurer une planification dimensionnelle de l’infrastructure pour de nouveaux services.
• Surveiller les performances des systèmes et équipements, en effectuant les corrections nécessaires.
• Veiller à ce que les normes de qualité soient établies pour atteindre les avantages compétitifs.

Conception des applications :

• Conseiller sur la conception, la surveillance et l’optimisation des composants d’architecture des applications informatiques.
• Coordonner avec l’architecture d’entreprise pour assurer l’alignement avec la stratégie technologique de STC.
• Évaluer les lacunes entre l’état actuel et l’état souhaité, définir des stratégies de transition.
• Communiquer les exigences d’optimisation et les rapports de performance aux parties prenantes internes.
• Aider à la définition des spécifications pour les systèmes de base de données et les technologies d’exploitation.

Gestion des actifs :

• Conseiller sur l’utilisation des actifs, en corrélant avec les moteurs commerciaux clés pour améliorer l’efficacité.

Compétences et qualifications requises

Expérience : 6 à 8 ans dans la conception d’infrastructures et d’applications au sein de l’industrie technologique/télécommunication.
Éducation :

• Baccalauréat en ingénierie des télécommunications ou en informatique.
• Un master dans le même domaine est un atout.

Certifications : Des certifications pertinentes dans le domaine sont recommandées.

📝 Description du poste : Job PurposeExperts at this level are responsible for providing technical expertise pertaining to Infrastructure & Applications Design and Engineering in order to ensure business continuity. Also, they are responsible for advising on operational work processes and mandates to minimise technical and operational risksJob ResponsibilityInfrastructure Design:

• Provide inputs to planning and budgetary processes, both in terms of future developmental requirements and costing, and ensures that systems and processes meet objectives within the budgetary constraints.
• Formulate design guidelines for the design engineering team.
• Advise on Infrastructure design approach, methodology and tactical strategy.
• Review network security threats and ensures proper action or escalation to the right level of management basis the evaluation of threat or risk.
• Advise on Infrastructure dimensioning and capacity planning for new services.
• Ensure development of an optimized design for assigned projects, compliant with safety codes through comprehensive development and review of project documents.
• Monitor the performance of system and equipment’s, ensuring any variances with the plan are corrected or advised with appropriate technical recommendations.
• Ensure quality standards are set at appropriate levels, with consideration given to both cost and service levels in order to achieve the desired competitive advantages. Applications Design:
• Advise in the design, monitoring and optimization of architecture components for IT applications, service architecture, technology, information elements and technical solutions and ensures compliance with Enterprise Architect framework.
• Advise coordination with Enterprise Architecture to ensure Consumer/Enterprise/Functional CRs are aligned with agreed STC technology strategy and roadmap.
• Advise on prioritizing Consumer/Enterprise/Functional CRs based on the agreed criteria with business stakeholders.
• Evaluate the gaps between as-is and to-be and defines transition strategies for addressing those gaps.
• Ensure solution models, performance reports and optimization requirements are communicated to all key internal stakeholders.
• Assess the technical blueprint design constructed for the solutions that needs to be developed keeping technical capabilities and financial constraints in check.
• Support the development and implementation of testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability etc.
• Verify the integration and compatibilities of the services and solutions with the various platforms on use.

Job Responsibility (Cont.)

• Suggest appropriate changes to be made in the high level solution design(s) under development to align it accurately with business requirements.
• Support in design and implementation of required services including operating systems, database systems, servers, virtualization, archiving systems and server consolidation.
• Help to define the specification of the database systems, server consolidation and operating systems technologies.
• Review and evaluate existing designs within STC to assess current capability and introduce potential improvements to infrastructure services.
• Drive database systems tuning and optimization in coordination with application owners.
• Support the migration of legacy storage and develops storage and back-up strategies.
• Provide periodical analysis and capacity forecasting for storage and back-up, server consolidation, OS and database services, security infrastructure and enterprise data network.
• Structure cloud computing strategy and architecture aligned with the business needs, understanding and evaluating the technologies and vendors needed to deploy the private cloud.
• Support the integration of cloud infrastructure into existing, traditional Applications operations management processes as needed.
• Evaluate, design and implement testing tools, methodologies and pre-production environment for critical systems.
• Drive the enforcement of compliance with corporate security policies and desktop standards. Asset Management:
• Advise on asset utilization whilst correlating with key business drivers to identify, evaluate and improve efficiency and mitigate operational risks.
