Tetra Pak, leader mondial dans les solutions d’emballage et de transformation pour l’industrie alimentaire, recherche un Team Leader Solution Design pour rejoindre son équipe Automatisation & Digital Amériques. Ce poste joue un rôle crucial dans la conception de solutions d’automatisation et digitales, tant pour les projets existants (brownfield) que pour les nouveaux projets (greenfield).
Principales responsabilités :
- Diriger une équipe de spécialistes en Solution Design, soutenant leur développement professionnel et assurant une expertise technique de haut niveau.
- Concevoir des concepts d’automatisation adaptés aux besoins des clients tout en respectant les stratégies commerciales de l’entreprise.
- Gérer les ressources internes et les affectations stratégiques, assurant une charge de travail équilibrée au sein de l’équipe.
- Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les divers partenaires internes et externes durant les phases de pré-projet.
- Veiller à ce que les processus et normes internes soient respectés, favorisant la qualité et la précision des livrables.
- Collaborer avec l’équipe de développement commercial pour fournir un soutien technique dans les phases de prospection et de devis.

Qualifications requises :
- Diplôme en ingénierie automatisation, électrique, mécanique ou domaine technique connexe.
- Expérience significative en ingénierie d’automatisation dans le secteur alimentaire et des boissons.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais, une connaissance de l’espagnol ou du portugais est un atout.
- Connaissances avérées des technologies Opérationnelles (OT) telles que PLCs, SCADAs, et des systèmes d’exécution de fabrication (MES).
- Familiarité avec les normes ISA-S88 et S95 appréciée.
- Solides compétences en leadership et en gestion de conflits.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique avec des priorités concurrentes.
- Esprit d’innovation et de recherche d’améliorations continues.

In this role, you will lead and guide a team of specialists, ensuring strong expertise and competence in the design of Automation & Digital solutions for both brownfield and greenfield pre-projects. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders – including customers, key account managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and partners – during the pre-project phase to define the technical scope and estimates that meet customer needs.
Your work will be instrumental in shaping the future of our business in alignment with our strategic objectives.You will report directly to the Automation & Digital Business Development and Solution Design Manager Americas.You will be travelling up to 25 % of your time.The position is based at US or Brazil at any of Tetra Pak office locations.

- Lead and develop a team of Solution Design Specialists, ensuring they have the skills, direction, and confidence to deliver technical designs and estimates;
- Guide the design of automation concepts and solutions during the pre-project phase for both greenfield and brownfield, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with customer needs and business strategies;
- Manage the internal resource for Solution Design team including strategic resource assignments, conflict resolution, yearly reviews, salary recommendation, individual development planning, resource utilization, approve expenses reports, and approve/manage vacations;
- Manage the pre-project opportunities pipeline and resources allocation, securing timely deliveries and balanced workload distribution;
- Act as a key point of contact between account managers, project managers, engineering and suppliers during pre-project phases representing Automation & Digital Americas;
- Ensure internal processes, tools, and standards are followed to support efficiency, quality and accuracy in pre-project deliverables;
- Collaborate closely with the Automation & Digital Business Development team to provide automation engineering support during the prospecting and quoting phases, actively participating in customer meetings and contributing to technical discussions and presentations.
We believe you have
- Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field;
- Solid experience in automation engineering in food and beverage sector;
- Advanced proficiency in English is required; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus;
- Proven experience of Operational Technology (OT) technologies such as PLCs, SCADAs, programming, and commissioning activities;
- Solid knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), virtualization, and industrial network integration is a must;
- Familiarity with ISA-S88 and S95 standards;
- Experience with Tetra Pak Automation Platform (Tetra Pak Plant Master) is highly desirable;
- Strong leadership with proven people and conflict management abilities;
- Project management, negotiation, and presentation skills;
- Effective internal and customer-facing communication skills;
- Comfortable working in a dynamic setting with competing priorities and shifting demands;
- Innovation and continuous improvement mindset.
Pay TransparencyTetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and responsibilities. Within the range, individual pay is defined by diverse factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location and others
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
Annual Base Salary Range: $110,00.00 – 157,100.00
Short-term Incentive (Variable Pay): eligible to performance incentive of 10%
