If you know your way around cables, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a team that gets things done, this could be the gig for you.You’ll be helping with supply network upgrades, underground conversions, and installing key electrical gear. If you’ve got experience-great. If not, but you’re keen to learn and willing to put in the effort, we still want to hear from you.What You Need
- NZ Certificate in Electrical Supply Cable Jointer High Voltage Level 4 (or similar)
- NZ Electrical registration (EWRB) and a current practicing license
- Class 2 driver’s license
- Good written and verbal skills (keeping paperwork sorted is part of the job!)
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll be jointing cables from 400V to 33kV
- Jointing and terminating LV underground cables
- Setting up and wiring street lights
- Installing transformers, RMUs, Magnefix units, cabinets, and boxes
