Ce poste s’inscrit dans le cadre du **SHARE Project**, une initiative phare de trois ans visant à établir un écosystème de connaissances structuré pour soutenir les membres et partenaires de GGGI dans leur préparation et leur participation aux marchés de l’article 6 de l’Accord de Paris. L’objectif est de favoriser l’échange de connaissances et le développement de matières premières sur le pricing carbone.

Responsabilités du poste

En tant qu’Associate en Gestion des Connaissances, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la mise en œuvre du projet SHARE grâce aux tâches suivantes :

  • Support technique : Apporter un soutien quotidien au gestionnaire de projet SHARE dans la planification et la réalisation d’activités liées à la gestion des connaissances et à la communication.
  • Création de contenus : Développer des matériaux de formation attrayants et techniquement pertinents sur le pricing carbone.
  • Gestion de la qualité : Établir un contrôle documentaire et assurer la qualité des productions liées au projet SHARE.
  • Organisation d’événements : Contribuer à la planification d’événements et de webinaires, y compris l’engagement des participants et le reporting post-événement.

Exigences du poste

Le candidat idéal devra répondre aux critères suivants :

  • Formation : Bachelor en administration des affaires, finance, ou domaine connexe.
  • Expérience : Minimum de trois ans d’expérience dans des domaines liés au changement climatique et aux marchés de carbone.
  • Connaissances : Familiarité avec l’Accord de Paris et les marchés internationaux de carbone.
  • Compétences techniques : Maîtrise des outils MS Office et des plateformes d’événements numériques.
  • Compétences en communication : Excellente rédaction en anglais, connaissance du français ou de l’espagnol est un plus.

📝 Description du poste : GGGI works with countries around the world, building their capacity and working collaboratively on green growth policies and bankable projects that can impact the lives of millions. The organization partners with countries, multilateral institutions, government bodies, and the private sector to help build economies that achieve strong growth and are less carbon intensive, more resilient to climate change, and more efficient and sustainable in the use of natural resources.The Paris Agreement provides a comprehensive framework for signatory Parties to reach an ambitious commitment to limit the increase in global average temperature to well below 2°C, and to pursue efforts to limit the increase to 1.5°C in a cooperative manner. This framework covers a number of instruments including cooperative approaches under Article 6 which allows signatory countries (and private sector entities authorized by these countries) to engage in international carbon transactions. The Carbon Pricing Department (CPD) of GGGI is a global leader in Article 6 international carbon trading technical assistance, implementing several programs since 2019 related to preparing and supporting countries in trading, opening up international carbon markets. The resultant flow of transactions is envisaged to build a robust and reliable global price for carbon, something many areas of the private sector have long called for as a way to motivate the transformational change needed to achieve the ambitious goals of Paris.The Carbon Transaction Facility (CTF), launched in October 2024, one of the primary mechanisms through GGGI supports its member and partner countries to achieve readiness to engage in the international carbon markets established under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. The CTF is a collection of funds that cover the full spectrum of Article 6 cooperation – from readiness to transactions of internationally transferred mitigation outcomes (ITMOs). GGGI serves as manager for the “Readiness Facility,” which targets four key strategic readiness outcomes: (1) Awareness raising and capacity building; (2) Article 6 governance framework development; (3) Mitigation activity (project) origination; and (4) Multi-directional knowledge exchange.Within the Readiness Facility program, the Strategic Hub for Article 6 Readiness Exchange (SHARE) project is a 3-year flagship global initiative that will build a structured knowledge ecosystem to support GGGI members and partners in preparing for and participating in Article 6 markets. The SHARE project will work across all scales – from national to global – to enable knowledge creation, transfer, exchange, and management, anchoring the Readiness Facility’s learning agenda to improve in-country delivery and scale-up of Article 6 market development globally. The project includes activities such as development of global knowledge products, capacity building, structured knowledge transfer and exchange in both in-person regional and global events as well as through webinars, and the implementation of an online knowledge hub (website) to disseminate knowledge across the globe.POSITION SUMMARYThe Carbon Pricing Knowledge Management Associate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the SHARE project, working under the supervision of the SHARE Project Manager and closely with the broader CPD. This role involves developing high-quality knowledge materials, supporting event design and implementation, and maintaining consistency and quality in internal and external communications.The Associate will assist in the creation and dissemination of tools, templates, capacity-building products, and knowledge resources that strengthen the impact and visibility of the SHARE project. S/he will ensure that knowledge exchange activities and materials are aligned with GGGI’s strategic objectives, are of professional standard, and support the effective roll out of Article 6 related technical assistance.PURPOSE

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to the SHARE Project Manager in planning and implementing knowledge management, capacity-building, and communications activities.
  • Develop visually engaging and technically sound capacity-building materials, knowledge products, and communication tools on Article 6 and carbon pricing.
  • Manage document control and quality assurance for SHARE-related outputs, including presentations, reports, learning materials, and web content.
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of the SHARE learning agenda by synthesizing information, managing repositories, and supporting structured knowledge exchange.
  • Support planning for regional/global SHARE events and webinars, including participant engagement and post-event reporting.
  • Help maintain alignment between SHARE project delivery and broader CPD knowledge management, communications, branding, and outreach strategies.

ENGAGEMENT

  • Work closely with the SHARE Project Manager, the Readiness Facility Manager and CPD colleagues, engaging across GGGI HQ and country teams.
  • Coordinate with GGGI headquarters’ Communications and Knowledge Management team to ensure materials produced by the project are consistent with corporate branding and quality standards.
  • Liaise with knowledge partners, consultants, and external stakeholders to support peer review processes, feedback collection, and knowledge curation.
  • Participate in meetings, consultations, and learning events to support stakeholder engagement and collaboration across CPD programs.

DELIVERY

  • Develop high-quality knowledge and training materials (e.g., PowerPoints, concept notes, factsheets, toolkits) on Article 6, tailored to various audiences.
  • Support operational delivery of knowledge sharing events (e.g., global knowledge exchange, regional training workshops), including agenda setting, content development, stakeholder coordination and reporting.
  • Maintain and organize a digital repository of knowledge products and deliverables from the SHARE project, ensuring accessibility and alignment with CPD strategy.
  • Draft and edit communications products (e.g., blogs, updates, success stories, post-event reports) that highlight the SHARE project’s results and lessons learned.
  • Track progress of knowledge product development, coordinate with external contributors (consultants, firms), and support quality control and publication workflows.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of the SHARE project’s knowledge-related outputs, gathering evidence and stakeholder feedback to inform continuous learning.

REQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or other related field of study required.
  • Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in climate change, carbon markets, knowledge management, communications, or capacity development in an international setting.
  • Familiarity with the Paris Agreement and international carbon markets, including Article 6.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and organizing training materials, knowledge products, and/or events, ideally on climate policy or carbon pricing
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English. Knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset.

FUNCTIONAL

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Word) and content management systems.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and online event tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Miro, Webex).
  • Ability to translate technical content into engaging and accessible materials for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The Senior Operations Associate is an X6, Korean national grade level in GGGI’s salary scale. For an X6 national grade, the base salary starts from USD 48,312. Determination of base salary is subject to candidate’s experience, academic background, and internal equity. Terms and conditions are to be reviewed in a case-by-case situation.

  • GGGI provides 13% of base salary towards retirement plan/long-term savings, 27 days of annual leave, and private health insurance that covers dental and vision.
  • The chosen candidate is expected to be based in GGGI’s Seoul headquarters and will report directly to the SHARE Project Manager.
