Our team brings unmatched insight into the African business environment, making us a trusted leader in facilitating strategic acquisitions and transactions.Position SummaryWe are seeking a visionary and highly analytical Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead African Market Acquisition’s marketing strategy and brand expansion across the continent and beyond. The CMO will be responsible for elevating brand visibility, driving platform traffic, and cultivating trust among high-net-worth individuals, investors, and asset owners. The ideal candidate is a growth-focused marketing executive with proven experience in digital marketplaces, investment platforms, or B2B/B2C marketing in emerging markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to position African Market Acquisition as the leading asset trading platform in Africa.Lead performance marketing initiatives to drive qualified traffic, user registration, and platform engagement.Build and manage the company’s brand identity, messaging, and voice across all digital and offline channels.Create and oversee integrated marketing campaigns, including content marketing, SEO/SEM, email, social media, partnerships, and paid media.Manage market research and customer insights to refine go-to-market strategies and identify new opportunities.Collaborate with the product, sales, and tech teams to ensure seamless user experiences and marketing alignment.Oversee PR, thought leadership, and strategic communications to increase credibility and visibility with investors, business owners, and stakeholders.Analyze and report on marketing KPIs, ROI, and user acquisition metrics to support data-driven decision-making.Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team and manage relationships with external vendors and agencies.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA or master’s preferred).Minimum of 5-7 years in a senior marketing role, with experience in online platforms, fintech, asset trading, or investment markets.Strong understanding of African business and investment landscapes.Proven track record in digital marketing, growth strategy, and brand development.Familiarity with customer acquisition strategies for high-value platforms and marketplaces.Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.Data-driven mindset with expertise in marketing analytics tools and CRM platforms.What We OfferA unique opportunity to shape the future of premium asset trading in Africa.A fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and innovation-focused work culture.Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.Opportunities to work with top-tier investors, business leaders, and industry experts across the continent.
