Description du poste : Your new companyA company in the distribution sector is hiring for the position of Compliance Manager!
Your new role

• Compliance and Regulatory Management: Coordinate with external service providers to manage all compliance and regulatory matters.
• Compliance Framework Development: Ensure the monitoring process is effective and objectives are met.
• Ongoing Compliance: Maintain adherence to all regulatory obligations and internal policies.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, monitor, and report compliance and regulatory risks.
• Regulatory Liaison: Manage relationships with regulatory bodies like CMVM and BdP, ensuring all reporting and documentation requirements are met.
• KYC and KYT Processes: Implement and enforce robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Transaction (KYT) processes.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure operations comply with local and international environmental regulations.
• Sustainability Reporting: Develop and maintain ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) sustainability reports.
• ESG Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks related to environmental, social, and governance factors.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
• Training and Awareness: Develop training programs on environmental and ESG compliance for employees and partners.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve environmental and ESG compliance practices.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Educational Background: Preference for candidates with a degree in Law or International Relations, though other profiles with relevant compliance experience are also considered.
• Work Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in compliance, particularly within the financial sector.
• Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, working both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
