Description du poste : Assignment Title:Accessibility Audit in SchoolsLocation:100 Govt schools in districts of Punjab and Khyber PakhtunkhwaAssignment Duration: 6 months (July 2025 – December 2025)Background:Sightsavers is implementing a FCDO-funded ILMPact Project that aims to provide access, learning, and support to out-of-school children (OOCS), particularly girls and children with disabilities, in selected districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. Under the project’s scope, accessibility audits will be conducted to identify the accessibility gaps and barriers in the physical infrastructure of government schools and based on the findings, the recommendations for improvements will be identified.Assignment duration:The duration of the assignment is from July 2025 till December 2025, including field visits and submission of the final report along with detailed Bids of Quantities (BOQs). The assessing team should represent all major type of disabilities including physical, hearing, visual, intellectual etc for a comprehensive assessment to facilitate the execution of access audits in the specific schools in targeted districts. (as per annexed list).Key Deliverables:Formation of the team (preferably to those who already conducted access audits in education institutes) by including persons with disabilities, including physical, hearing, speech, visual, and intellectual. The team should also comprise a civil engineer who will assist in preparing detailed BOQs as part of the final report with recommendations.Provide orientation session to the access audit team on the accessibility audit tool and reporting requirementsAdapting the accessibility audit tool in consultation with the Sightsavers Pakistan country office.Carrying out the accessibility audits as per mutually agreed schedule in the selected (100) schools of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in 15 districts (district list given below).The accessibility audits will cover the specific areas e.g., entrance of school, classrooms, library, labs, assembly area, playground, toilet area and other onsite locations as per the context and needs of the school.Submitting the report of the accessibility audit at Sightsavers’s reporting template.Submit Bill of Quantities (BOQs) with detailed and accurate estimation and detailed specifications.Develop a consolidated but comprehensive report of the audit with concrete conclusions and strong & actionable recommendations.Submission of Technical & Financial Proposals:Interested firms/organizations, that have proven skills and experience of conducting accessibility audits are encouraged to apply for this assignment.The technical proposal should include the profile of firm/institute/organization, the details of technical resource persons, previous assignments, methodology and any certification in conducting accessibility audits.In the financial proposal, the cost must be broken down with the major heads including consultancy, logistics, reporting cost etc.The budget should be inclusive of all taxes as all applicable taxes will be deducted as per the government rules.Apply By:How to Apply:Interested firms and organizations having relevant experiences and expertise can submit their Technical & Financial Proposal in a sealed envelopeat the address below by COB 15th June 2025.SightsaversOffice No 3-F, Street 7,Near Rabbani Market, G-10/2 IslamabadFor more details, contact on 051 -8358020 (Monday- Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)Annexure 1: List of DistrictsS.
