Description du poste
Nous recherchons un Conference Director expérimenté pour rejoindre l’équipe d’ouverture de SLS Barcelona. Sous la supervision du Directeur des ventes, la personne choisie sera responsable de la planification, de la coordination et de l’exécution des conférences et événements. Les principales missions comprennent :
- Cultiver des relations solides avec les clients pour mieux comprendre leurs besoins et dépasser leurs attentes.
- Développer des stratégies complètes pour les services de conférence alignées sur les objectifs commerciaux de l’hôtel.
- Gérer les budgets des conférences, en veillant au respect des objectifs financiers.
- Collaborer pour attirer de nouveaux clients via des stratégies promotionnelles efficaces.
- Réaliser des évaluations post-événement pour identifier les réussites et les axes d’amélioration.
- Veiller à la qualité du service et à la satisfaction des clients, en s’attaquant rapidement aux problèmes soulevés.
- Diriger et gérer une équipe d’exécutifs de conférence, en déléguant les responsabilités pour garantir le bon déroulement des événements.
Qualifications requises
Nous recherchons un candidat ayant :
- Un diplôme en gestion hôtelière ou études connexes.
- Un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’hôtellerie ou des événements de luxe.
- Une maîtrise des systèmes informatiques tels que Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook.
- Une capacité à jongler avec de multiples tâches dans un environnement dynamique.
- Une excellente communication verbale et écrite, en espagnol et en anglais.
- Une aptitude pour créer un climat positif et collaboratif au sein de l’équipe.
- Un esprit d’innovation et une volonté de bâtir des relations de confiance.
- Une capacité à prendre des décisions efficaces et à résoudre les problèmes.
- Une ouverture d’esprit envers de nouvelles idées et une disposition à essayer des approches non conventionnelles.

Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary!Job DescriptionWhat you’ll doWe are looking for an experienced Conference Director to join the opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales, you will support the Director of Sales in leading and managing all conference operations at our hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all conferences and events hosted at SLS Barcelona.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for conference and event services that align with the hotel’s business goals and enhance its reputation.
- Prepare and manage budgets for conferences and events, ensuring financial targets are achieved and resources are utilized efficiently.
- Collaborate to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract clients and maximize event bookings.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather client feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Lead and manage a team of conference executives and support staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth execution of events, groups handover from the beginning through all event planning stages, final agenda and services confirmation, until the final invoice.
QualificationsWhat we are looking for…
- Degree in Hotel Management or related studies.
- +3 years of experience in hospitality/luxury Events or Sales & Marketing department.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is required.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
