Your creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to think outside the box will be crucial in designing and orchestrating captivating events that ensure our conferences stand out from the crowd.This role requires hands-on experience of a Conference Manager who can get to assigned tasks, execute directions, and do the heavy lifting to get the events started. It also requires commercial acumen, the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, sales team and sponsors, good articulation of value proposition of the event and the ability to drive workflows and processes independently.This role is responsible for planning, researching, and executing delegate based and sponsorship driven events that leave an indelible mark on the industries we serve.About the Role
In this opportunity as Conference Manager, you will:Research relevant and high quality conference, training and summit content appropriate to various levels of individual within the legal marketDevelop programmes and sourcing content for Thomson Reuters legal media group event portfolio, including writing agendas and confirming speakersBe responsible for onsite delivery and management of events across AsiaManaging ongoing relationships with speakers and other relevant event partnersIdentify spaces in the market and developing events of various types in order to take advantage of these gapsManage overall marketing activities of the event, including (but not limited to): Understanding database limitations and identifying strategies to overcome thisArrange email and mailing campaigns, and carrying these out in order to maximise event attendanceBrief telesales teams to sell the event and drive attendance numbers and revenueLiaise with additional teams across Thomson Reuters Asia and cooperating closely with regard to both marketing for the events and event deliveryAbout You
