Start Date: ASAPRole OverviewThe Construction Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and successful delivery of the CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) scope. You will manage site operations, interface with all project stakeholders, ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the on-site delivery of the CSA works package, including civils, groundworks, structural steel, cladding, roofing, internal finishes, external works, etc.
- Act as the senior site representative for the CSA scope, reporting directly to the Project Director.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors, site teams, and specialist contractors, ensuring alignment with programme milestones.
- Drive a culture of safety, quality, and performance on site, ensuring all activities comply with local and international health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate with planning, commercial, design, and MEP leads to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Attend and lead site progress meetings, and produce regular reports on project progress, risks, resourcing, and logistics.
- Manage interfaces between CSA and MEP scopes to ensure seamless integration and reduce risk of clashes or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all client specifications, design intent, local regulations, and TSL procedures.
- Lead issue resolution and mitigation of site-related challenges, driving solutions and improvements.
- Support the QA/QC process, handover documentation, and commissioning activities.
Key Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management, with at least 5 years at senior leadership level.
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale CSA packages on mission-critical projects, ideally data centres or similar high-tech environments.
- Strong understanding of programme management, logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a proactive, hands-on approach to managing high-performing site teams.
- Fluent in English; Portuguese language skills are a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
