Piliers de l’Activité :
Hamerkop se concentre sur trois principaux aspects :

  1. Projets : Certification et mise en œuvre de projets de lutte contre le changement climatique.
  2. Marché : Conseil d’expert sur les marchés du carbone, incluant une diligence raisonnable technique et des conseils stratégiques.
  3. Politique : Assistance aux pays du Sud pour élaborer et revoir leurs stratégies climatiques conformément à l’Accord de Paris.

Rôle et Responsabilités :
Le consultant aura la responsabilité de concevoir et de livrer une gamme variée de services techniques en relation avec les projets de gestion des forêts et du sol. Les responsabilités spécifiques incluent :

  • Collaborer sur des études et rapports techniques liés à la gestion et à la conservation des forêts en Asie du Sud-Est.
  • Assister dans la certification de projets auprès de standards majeurs comme Verra ou Gold Standard.
  • Fournir des conseils stratégiques sur les marchés carbone à des ONG et des clients du secteur privé.
  • Contribuer aux activités de développement commercial et établir des partenariats.
  • Maintenir des relations solides avec les équipes externes et les partenaires.
  • Rester informé des évolutions des politiques climatiques et des mécanismes financiers.
  • Promouvoir la marque Hamerkop à travers des contenus informatifs.

Profil Recherché :

Compétences Requises :

  • MSc dans un domaine technique pertinent (foresterie, écologie, etc.).
  • 2 à 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans des projets climatiques ou de conservation.
  • Compétences analytiques et capacités de rédaction rigoureuses.
  • Anglais courant et maîtrise d’une seconde langue d’Asie du Sud-Est.
  • Autonomie et bonnes compétences organisationnelles.
  • Esprit d’équipe et sens de l’humour.

Compétences Souhaitées :

  • Droit de travail à Singapour.
  • Expérience antérieure dans des projets de changement climatique en Asie du Sud-Est.
  • Expérience en consultance, y compris la gestion de projets.
  • Connaissance des marchés du carbone et comptabilisation des émissions de gaz à effet de serre.
  • Expérience avec des outils SIG.

Type de Contrat :
Ce poste est offert en contrat permanent. Le candidat doit être basé à Singapour et pourrait être amené à voyager à l’international pour environ 10% de son temps.

It is a place where you can apply your skills to some of the world’s most challenging, interesting, and meaningful projects worldwide.Role Description – ResponsibilitiesThis newly created consultant position will consist of growing and delivering a diverse range of stimulating technical and strategic consultancy assignments in relation to forestry, land use and management and biochar.What you will do:

  • Collaborate closely with HAMERKOP’s consultants on studies, analytics, assessments, and technical reports related to forestry management, conservation, and restoration projects across Southeast Asia (including Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia).
  • Support the delivery of client assignments, including the formulation of emission reduction projects, conducting technical feasibility studies, performing due diligence on carbon projects, and assisting with project certification under major carbon standards (such as Verra, Gold Standard, Plan Vivo, and ERS) for NGOs and private developers.
  • Provide strategic advice on voluntary carbon markets for NGOs and private sector clients, and contribute to the feasibility and design of climate change mitigation projects for international organizations and governments.
  • Drive business development activities by identifying new opportunities, building networks, drafting technical and commercial proposals, preparing concept notes, liaising with partners, sourcing technical experts, and following up with prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with project teams, clients, and partner organizations, serving as a key point of contact.
  • Stay up to date with rapidly evolving climate change policies, finance mechanisms, and relevant international and national legislation (e.g., outcomes from COPs).
  • Promote HAMERKOP’s brand and technical credibility by creating and sharing insightful blog content and thought leadership.

Who you areRequired

  • MSc in a technical field related to forestry, environmental science, conservation, or ecology.
  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in climate, forestry, or conservation projects.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce well-presented, error-free reports and deliverables.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, as well as a second language relevant to Southeast Asia.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive mindset, good humour, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing to a dynamic, growing business.

Desired

  • Right to work in Singapore.
  • Prior experience working in Southeast Asia on climate change, energy, or forestry projects.
  • Previous consulting experience, including client and project management.
  • Degree in forest engineering and management.
