Guided by the vision of “smart and sustainable solutions beyond rubber,” the group sector draws on its long-standing knowledge of the industry and materials to open up new business opportunities by combining various materials with electronic components and individual services.Job DescriptionResponsible for the development, provision, implementation and support of Integrity and Law Business Applications.Project Management:Effective steering and managing complex and strategic Integrity and Law IT projects throughout the entire project lifecyclePlan, execute, and deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within budgetIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues through proactive managementDevelop and execute stakeholder communication plans to ensure transparency and alignmentLead project teams fostering teamworkService Management:Accountable for the overall service delivery for respective servicesCoordinate with external partners to manage application lifecycle and supportRun a sustainable demand management process including budget controlResponsible for the change coordination (and implementation) for respective servicesEnsure efficient problem management process for respective servicesEnsure that agreed Service Levels Agreements are met for respective servicesLicense managementHierarchical point of escalationCross-functional Collaboration:Fosters cross-functional collaboration with divisional IT departments and Key User groups to jointly develop and implement strategic solutions.Application Provisioning & IT Systems OversightLead end-to-end application provisioning and coordinated cross-functional teams for seamless infrastructure integration.Ensures availability, performance, and compliance of IT business systems supporting Integrity and Law (e.g., CORE, Asterix, Compliance Hotline), while optimizing operational costs.IT Business ConsultingProvides expert guidance to the business management and Key User teams on IT strategies and solutions to drive competitive advantage.Ensured full support and alignment across all topics within the area of responsibilityIT Governance, Policies & Standards:Implements and continuously improve IT best practices, including project management, portfolio management, and service management.Optimizes internal department processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.Ensures adherence to Continental IT standards, asset management protocols, and security controls.Identifies and executes cost-effective risk mitigation strategies in IT operations..IT Sourcing & Vendor ManagementEvaluated and selected suppliers, leading contract negotiations in coordination with IT Purchasing and in compliance with Continental sourcing policies.Actively managed external service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective global service deliveryQualificationsQualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information & Communication Technology or a related discipline3 to 5 years of professional experience in the IT application operations or project deliverySuccessfully implemented international projects with a volume exceeding €200,000Experience in leading teams or initiatives without disciplinary authorityStrong background in working with international and cross-cultural teamsAdditional Information
