Description Générale du Poste

Le Consultant en Médecine Familiale chez Bupa est chargé de fournir des soins de santé primaires complets, tant en personne qu’à travers des consultations à distance. Ce rôle crucial inclut le diagnostic et le traitement d’une large gamme de conditions médicales ainsi que la promotion de l’éducation à la santé et des mesures préventives.

Principales responsabilités :

1. Consultations et Gestion des Patients

   • Conduire des consultations par télé-santé et des examens physiques en personne pour des plaintes liées à la médecine familiale.
   • Assurer les soins à la population cible de médecine familiale à travers toutes les tranches d’âge et genres.
   • Évaluer les symptômes des patients en utilisant des plateformes de vidéoconférence et élaborer des plans de traitement personnalisés.

2. Assurance Qualité et conformité

📝 Description du poste : Job DescriptionFamily Medicine Consultant will provide comprehensive primary healthcare physically and through telemedicine to individuals and families of all ages, encompassing preventive, acute, and chronic care. Will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, promoting health education and preventive measures, and coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will be responsible for practicing population health management and value-based care, focusing on improving patient outcomes through efficient and effective healthcare delivery through specific care programs and clinical pathways, with an emphasis on delivering patient-centered care and optimizing health outcomesPatient Consultations and Management

• Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations and in-person consultations via thorough patient history and physical examinations with patients experiencing Family Medicine and general medicine complaints
• Provide healthcare to all family medicine target population across age and gender
• Provide chronic diseases and preventive care consultations and follow up to patients as per clinical guidelines
• Utilize video conferencing platforms to assess patient symptoms, review medical history, and perform virtual examinations. Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing patient education
• Deliver high-quality medical consultations to patients
• Utilize telehealth platforms for virtual appointments and conduct in-person assessments as needed.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, referrals to specialists, and lifestyle modifications
• Oversee ongoing care for chronic and acute conditions
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care
• Practice population health management by identifying and addressing health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health education and awareness
• Document findings and treatment plans meticulously in patient records.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and concise explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Adhere to all relevant medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and quality assurance standards for telehealth practice and in-person practice
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telehealth regulations and best practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and document patient encounters accurately

Telehealth Platform Proficiency

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Maintain proficiency in utilizing the designated telehealth platform, including video conferencing, secure messaging, and electronic health records (EHR) integration
• Actively participate in training programs and stay updated on platform enhancements and best practices. Collaborate with IT support to troubleshoot any technical issues

Patient Safety and Satisfaction

• Maintain compliance with all patient safety standards and ensure patient safety across all clinical interactions

Skills

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.

• Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration as a Family Medicine Consultant.
• Proven experience as a Family Medicine Consultant or similar role, preferably in a primary care setting.
• Experience in practicing population health management and value-based care approaches.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine platforms.
• Strong clinical judgment and analytical skills.
