Contexte du poste
Sous la direction générale du Fundraising Manager et en étroite coordination avec les équipes de *Private Fundraising and Partnerships* (PFP), le Corporate Fund Raising Officer sera chargé de soutenir le développement et la mise en œuvre d’une stratégie intégrée de collecte de fonds auprès du secteur privé. Cela inclut la mobilisation de ressources et l’engagement des entreprises pour accroître la visibilité d’UNICEF et élargir sa base de donateurs individuels.
Fonctions et responsabilités clés
- Contribuer à l’élaboration d’un plan stratégique d’engagement et de collecte de fonds pour le secteur privé, incluant les activités de marketing et de budget.
- Identifier et développer de nouveaux partenariats corporatifs, en négociant des engagements financiers et non financiers.

Exigences du poste
Qualification minimale :
- *Éducation* : Diplôme universitaire en Administration des affaires, Sciences économiques, Relations publiques ou domaines connexes, avec une spécialisation en Marketing ou Fundraising souhaitable.
- *Expérience professionnelle* : Minimum d’un an dans la collecte de fonds auprès du secteur privé ou le développement d’alliances corporatives. Une expertise en vente sera un atout.
- *Compétences linguistiques* : Maîtrise de l’anglais et de l’espagnol, la connaissance d’une autre langue de l’ONU est un plus.

The strategy will leverage the sector’s core strengths to raise funds and support for UNICEF, including Business Engagement and Child Rights (BECR). It will also explore ways in which the corporate sector can help enhance UNICEF’s visibility and expand its individual donor base, thereby raising more sustainable and flexible funding. The incumbent will work closely with the PFP, Communication, and Programme sections to align programme objectives with private sector corporate engagement.Key functions, accountabilities and related duties/tasks * As part of the office’s resource mobilization strategy, supports the elaboration of the strategic engagement and fundraising plan for the corporate sector, including marketing, advertising, and budget development activities to advance strategic business objectives. In case an opportunity is identified, the strategic plan could include other actions to raise funds outlined in the high-value channel.
- Contributes to the preparation of the annual activity plan related to corporate engagement and fundraising that includes key priorities, establishes key performance indicators and provides relevant information on corporate fundraising opportunities and trends in the country and its linkages with global initiatives lead by UNICEF.
- In line with UNICEF policies and due diligence processes, support efforts to identify and develop new corporate partnerships, negotiating financial and non-financial engagements, and supporting the acquisition and retention of individual donors when possible. Maintains relationships with existing partners to maximize partnership potential. Continuously seeks innovative ideas and opportunities to enhance corporate fundraising efforts and grow existing corporate alliances.
- Participates in the implementation of the strategy and annual plan, identifying problems and proposing corrective actions, while ensuring work plan compliance to meet objectives. Analyzes and measures the impact of actions, providing reports to optimize results.
- Promote proper coordination between corporate and individual fundraising teams to maximize synergies and optimize fundraising outcomes. Coordinates with other areas of the office, the PFP regional office, and UNICEF Headquarters to ensure the necessary support and alignment in achieving corporate fundraising and engagement objectives.
- Assists the PFP, Communications and other sections of the office in fundraising, engagement, and branding campaigns by strengthening collaborations and utilizing both existing and potential corporate partnerships. Supports in planning and executing integrated campaigns, ensuring private sector involvement and corporate fundraising activities are part of the process. Helps raise UNICEF’s brand awareness and visibility through initiatives that engage the private sector.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…Minimum requirements:
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Economics, Public Relations or related fields. Desirable a specialization in any related field like Marketing, Private Sector Fundraising and/or Sales
- Work Experience: The position requires a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in private sector fundraising, corporate alliance development, strategic marketing projects, and/or sales of services or mass consumption products, with demonstrated expertise in prospecting, initial and follow-up contact, proposal presentation, objection handling, and closing sales/alliances with senior executives from the country’s leading companies. Having one’s own network of contacts with private sector business owners and executives is desirable. Work experience in an international organization or NGO will be an asset
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Spanish required. Knowledge of another UN language an asset.
