Reporting to Customer Marketing Manager, this role will support the implementation of CVK channel strategyThis role will work closely with KA team, I.O team, Sales ops and Brand mktg team to develop and execute a channel strategy that drives growth with priority customers and protects our business with core customers. This scope includes the 1) Execution of price and promotions for all channels 2) Support in Private label development 3) Customer Experience integration 4) Customer Innovation programsA key part of this role is to provide the tools and expertise to engage customers in the CooperVision plan. This will be done by turning the category and customer insights into compelling joint business plans that drive category growth for Key accts and I.O customers As part of the Customer marketing team, Customer Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with Sales teams and KA team to coordinate and execute the JBP meetings for Key customers in chain and I.O that will differentiate CooperVision from competitors, excite and engage the customer and drive growth and share for CooperVision. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Responsibilities:Job Summary:
- Contribute to CVK channel strategy development to ensure CooperVision wins with key customers in all channels.
- Develop innovative customer marketing initiatives to drive growth and share in key customers.
- Defines the ideal Customer Experience and works cross functionally to execute it across key channels to differentiate CV from competitors
- Develops the private label strategy and plans, in partnership with local cross functions i.e. KAM, finance, Supply chain, RAQA, etc
- Manage CVK price and promotions framework and promotion execution in the field.
- Understand channel P&L and allocate right resources to right channel considering ROI by channel
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing supports and take corrective actions if necessary
Commercial strategy
- Closely work with CM mgr to develop the CVK channel strategy, ensuring that commercial guidelines are in place to enable CooperVision to win with customers, engage high potential customers and protect business with core customers. This would also include identifying new customer opportunities and white space opportunities.
- Develop the Private Label strategy ensuring credible PL package developed for customers and potential customer opportunities identified and action plans agreed with leadership team
- Work with KA, I.O, Sales Ops teams to ensure the channel strategy is an integral part of the annual business planning process.
- Ensure the channel strategy is continually updated with the latest market trends and insights
- Deliver and manage the CVK pricing and promotions framework and execution plan
- Understand channel P&L and allocate right resources to right channel considering ROI by channel
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing supports such as cooperative marketing expenses, trial lens, promotion cost and take corrective actions if necessary
Customer Engagement
- Develop best in class sales tools that enable Sales teams to engage customers in the CooperVision category strategy and annual plan.
- Develop customer marketing initiatives that enable CooperVision to engage customers and drive growth.
- Work closely with KA, I.O, Sales ops to ensure the continually development and improvement of the CooperVision customer proposition.
- Conduct quarterly Joint Business Planning meeting with key customers to maintain channel growth with win-win approach
Execution
- Understand and develop plans to exploit the commercial opportunities and mitigate the risks for CooperVision at CVK and with key customers.
- Track and monitor competitor activity, ensuring that Sales teams are armed with up to date and relevant competitor insights to enable fast decision making and action.
- Responsible for Distribution tracker and action planning across CVK to identify opportunities and action plans with markets
Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to identify data for insights and turn this into effective marketing activity.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. (Korean and English)
- Good communication skill in persuading and influencing stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, to interpret data effectively to drive commercial decisions.
- Data driven decision-making
- Excellent skills in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- External agency management and budget responsibility.
Work Environment:
- Standard commercial office environment / setting.
- Frequent work travel within South Korea as part of the role may be required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7(preferred 10 years’ commercial experience) to include a mix of Key Account Management Customer/Shopper Marketing, and/or Category Management/ Experience Design.
- Experience working with multinational accounts/chains in a B2B or B2B2C scenario.
- Experience of interpreting data to create commercial insights.
- Interest in Technology and technology application to improve experience
Education:
- Degree level or equivalent qualification required.
