Description du poste
Le Senior Product Developer aura pour mission principale de développer des produits novateurs et des extensions de gamme au sein de la catégorie des boissons à base de lait. Les responsabilités incluent:
- Transformation des concepts en produits innovants : Établir un avantage commercial pour Arla.
- Optimisation des coûts et de la valeur : Collaborer étroitement avec le marketing, les fournisseurs et d’autres parties prenantes.
- Gestion de projets de développement : Superviser la finalisation des recettes, la gestion des coûts et l’assurance qualité.
- Collaboration avec les Brand Managers : Servir de partenaire technique fiable lors des discussions.
- Expertise en produits et processus : Se spécialiser dans les produits ambiants et à longue durée de vie.
- Gestion de projet : Maintenir un statut clair sur l’avancement des projets, en identifiant opportunités et risques.
Critères de réussite
Pour réussir dans cette fonction, une formation de niveau master en technologie laitière ou en sciences, ainsi qu’une expérience d’au moins cinq ans en développement de produits, sont essentielles. Les candidats devront posséder des compétences dans le secteur des boissons lactées et une compréhension approfondie des processus de fabrication des produits laitiers.
Les qualifications supplémentaires incluent :
- Gestion de projet interdisciplinaire : Capacité à mener des projets de manière concrète.
- Compréhension commerciale : Aptitude à conduire des projets de l’idée à la réalisation.
- Excellentes compétences en communication : Capacité à établir des relations aussi bien internes qu’externes.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais : Compétence requise pour interagir dans un environnement international, avec un bonus pour ceux qui parlent danois.

Based in state-of-the-art innovation center in Aarhus as well in Esbjerg on production sites, you will work around the Innovation team for our Milk Based Beverages business unit. So, if you are passionate about working at a fast pace and creating the future of beverages for brands such as Starbucks, Cocio, Mars or Mondelez, this could be the job for you.How you will make an impactYour main goal is to develop breakthrough products as well as line extensions across the Milk Based Beverages category. As such, you will be heading a large number of development projects of varying size and, with hands on approach, you will drive the activities from start to finish. This position puts you in a unique position to have a major impact on the future success of the organization.We need you to be a technical specialist, but also have the ability to think strategically and work closely with business stakeholders. Other main responsibilities will include:
- Turning concepts into innovative new products in order to give Arla a commercial advantage
- Optimizing the cost / value of new and existing products, working closely with global marketing, suppliers, our supply chain and other stakeholders
- Leading product and process development projects, including recipe finalization, cost management, quality assurance and legal assessment
- Working closely with Brand Managers and colleagues within Innovation to act as a strong and credible technical sparring partner in discussions
- Acts as a knowledge expert in key areas, especially long-life ambient products and processes
- Project Management, including being able to provide a clear status of a development project, opportunities, risks and project timeline.
What will make you successfulIf you have a background within dairy, beverage technology or science at master’s level. Topped with +5 years’ experience within product development. You have the exact credentials needed for this key NPD position.Knowledge within milk beverages and process of these will be key for this role. If you have been working within the beverage or dairy industry or have experience with beverages manufacturing as well as flavor application and flavor house cooperation, it will absolutely give you a head start. Further we will be looking for:
- Cross functional project management experience, as well as being hands on
- Sound business understanding and that you are skilled in driving projects from start to finish
- Good at communicating clearly, building personal relations both across organizational levels and externally
- That you are fluent in English (verbal and written) to navigate in an international environment and be able to communicate in Danish as well.
