Le Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) recherche un project manager motivé pour conduire le projet « The Casein Mission », centré sur la production durable d’ingrédients laitiers sans vache, en réponse à l’augmentation significative prévue de la population mondiale et à la crise climatique.
Contexte du Projet
D’ici 2045, la demande mondiale en protéines pourrait doubler, nécessitant des solutions novatrices pour assurer une production alimentaire durable. Le projet a pour objectif de développer des protéines laitières authentiques à l’aide de la fermentation de précision, garantissant la même fonctionnalité et valeur nutritionnelle que celles des protéines de lait naturel. Ce projet, d’une durée de 4,5 ans, bénéficie d’un soutien financier de la *Novo Nordisk Foundation* et implique une collaboration internationale avec diverses institutions.
Responsabilités Principales
Le ou la candidate retenue sera chargé(e) de la gestion globale du projet, ce qui inclut :
- Coordonner les tâches administratives et logistiques
- Organiser des réunions, des ateliers, et des visites d’échange
- Surveiller la progression et les risques, tout en rendant compte aux partenaires
- Rédiger des rapports et communiquer les avancées aux parties prenantes
- Assurer le respect du calendrier prévu
- Agir en tant que lien entre les instituts partenaires et la fondation de soutien
Il est également attendu que le candidat contribue à des activités de recherche lorsque le temps le permettra.
Compétences et Attentes
Pour ce poste, le DTU recherche un profil bien organisé, capable de gérer des tâches complexes, avec :
- Expérience en gestion de projet, y compris dans l’organisation de réunions et de déplacements
- Une certification en gestion de projet est souhaitée
- Compétences solides en rapport oral et écrit
- Côneissances dans les domaines des sciences naturelles
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome
- Esprit collaboratif, ouverture à un travail en équipe internationale
- Maîtrise de l’anglais (niveau C1, à l’oral comme à l’écrit)

📝 Description du poste : Do you want to make a difference for future sustainable food production by contributing to an international project on developing “cow-free” milk ingredients? Within the next 25 years the world’s population will need up to twice the amount of protein compared to today. Topped by the climate crisis, we need to find new solutions for producing food, and that’s where you enter the scene. Together with a team of international top scientists you will contribute to developing the genuine milk proteins produced without the cow and carrying the right decorations. We aim to obtain the same functionality and nutritional value as natural milk proteins but produced by precision fermentation and thus in a more sustainable manner.The DTU National Food Institute is looking for an ambitious project manager, preferably with a background in natural science, e.g., microbiology, molecular biology, or fermentation processes, to manage activities within ‘The Casein Mission’. The project runs for 4.5 years from July 2025 and is part of a larger initiative supported by a grant from the Novo Nordisk foundation with focus on precision fermentation and engineering of cell factories to produce milk proteins with the right post translational modifications. The DTU National Food Institute coordinates this project with partners from DTU, AU and two international partners based in other European countries.The job
A vital part of the job is managing the project and keeping track of deliverables and milestones Specifically, the responsibilities will include organizing activities, travel, and meetings, and supporting the partner teams and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress and risks, and for reporting progress, including financial status, to partners, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and other stakeholders.The financial tasks will be supported by DTUs financial department.Primary areas of responsibility:
- Coordinate administrative and logistics tasks
- Organize meetings, workshops, training courses, and exchange visits
- Manage project quality, including writing reports
- Communicate with stakeholders, e.g. through newsletters and presentations
- Keep track of deliverables and milestones, including dissemination of results and other project output
- Ensure adherence to the planned timeframe / schedule
- Act as the liaison between the partner institutes, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and other stakeholders
- Be part of management of the personnel involved in the project
- Engage with the financial management of the project

- Experience with project management, including organising meetings and travel
- A project management certification

- Fluency in English (C1 level), both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills.

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).The position is a full-time position. Starting date is 1 September 2025 (or according to mutual agreement).The position is temporary, as it is a project-based employment under The Casein Mission project, and the employment will end upon completion of the project. The estimated end date is 31-12-2029.
