Reply delivers consulting, system integration and digital services to organisations across the telecom and media; industry and services; banking and insurance; and public sectors.Role Overview:The broad purpose of the Accounting Finance Manager integrated Degree Apprenticeship is for those who currently or aspire to manage and implement accounting, finance systems and processes which support decision making inline with strategy by applying technical and technological knowledge and skills to all aspects of accounting and finance within an organisation. Through this programme you will use principles of problem-based and inquiry-led learning to demonstrate effectiveness in applying accounting knowledge and developing relevant skills and behaviours.As a degree apprentice in Reply’s internal management reporting team, you will manage the complexities of a networked and fast growing organisation reporting directly to the Head of Management Reporting. Your internal customers will be the managing directors of our Reply subsidiary companies. This apprenticeship will offer a flexible programme designed for those who are either new to the Accountancy sector and starting their career journey, or those with varying levels of existing experience looking to upskill and progress their careers. You’ll gain a range of qualifications whilst gaining valuable real-world work experience. In addition to the studying for a Bachelor’s degree, you will study towards industry-recognised professional qualifications. This three-years’ BSc Accounting & Finance Manager degree apprenticeship will be based at our London office. The course will be delivered via online-learning in partnership with University of Exeter. The start date for this apprenticeship will be September 2025.Responsibilities:
- You’ll assist with preparing and running monthly meetings with stakeholder to review financial performance
- You’ll enhance business profitability by monitoring and controlling company performance
- You’ll learn how to forecast and budget on key KPIs in the management reporting process for our Reply subsidiary companies across the UK
- As part of the Management Reporting Team at Reply, you’ll assist with drafting quarterly reporting packages
- You will help with reconciliations with the Statutory Financial Statements
About the candidate:
- You have already completed your A-Levels with BBB (ideally with Mathematics and Economics A-Levels) or BTEC (DDM) equivalent. Alternatively, you have already completed a L3/L4 apprenticeship in Accounting/Finance that you’d like to top up to a full Bachelor’s degree. You’ll also be considered for this degree apprenticeship, if you can demonstrate at least two years’ relevant work experience in accountancy or finance (e.g. as a finance assistant, controller etc). Due to the course deadline requirements, we cannot consider any applicants who are still completing their A-Levels/BTEC this year.
- There is a requirement from the Education and Skills Funding Agency that apprentices under 19 hold a level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics
- You have a strong interest in Finance, Controlling and Auditing processes
- You can demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ideally, you already possess initial accounting exposure
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge and initial SAP knowledge as a nice-to-have
