Our company has expertise in such domains as Networking, Storage Systems, Cloud Computing, Smart Buildings, Drivers, IoT, etc.Our site:What you’ll be doing:
– Design, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure on GCP (Compute Engine and other services);– Development and support of container orchestration (GKE, docker-compose);– Configuration and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, automation of build, test, deployment);– Administration of web servers (Apache, Nginx), including configuration, monitoring, and optimization;– Management of OS-level services (systemd);– Automation of routine tasks (Bash, Python, Make, Ansible);– Monitoring of performance and stability, setting up alerting, and incident response;– Participation in the development and implementation of backup and data recovery strategies;– Ensuring the security of infrastructure and applications (including PKI/easyrsa);– Collaboration with development and embedded teams to ensure an efficient deployment and update process;– Documentation of infrastructure and processes;– Research and implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency and reliability;– Participation in the planning and execution of infrastructure migrations and upgrades;– Troubleshooting technical issues related to infrastructure and deployment.What you need for this role:– 1.5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;– Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD;– Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);– Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes Engine (GKE), docker-compose);– Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD tools (Jenkins);– Experience administering web servers (Apache, Nginx);– Understanding of operating system-level service management (systemd);– Ability to write automation scripts (Bash, Python, Make, Ansible);– Experience with system monitoring and incident response;– Understanding of backup and data recovery principles;– Knowledge of infrastructure and application security principles, experience with PKI (preferably easyrsa);– Experience collaborating with development teams and other technical specialists;– Ability to document infrastructure and processes;– Willingness to learn and implement new technologies;– Experience participating in infrastructure migrations and upgrades (preferred);– Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues;– Intermediate level of spoken and written English.Nice to have:– Experience with other AWS or Azure;– Experience with other automation and orchestration tools;– Understanding of container security principles;– Experience working in an Agile environment.What we offer for your success:– Free from bureaucracy and company time tracking;– Annual performance-based salary review;– 20 working days paid vacation and 15 days of sick leave;– 6 additional days of leave for important events of life;– Flexible working hours (start your day between 8:00 and 11:00);– Professional English courses in small groups by level, 2 hours per week;– Education and anniversary bonuses;– Providing all the necessary equipment;– Full accounting support for the employees;– The opportunity to rotate on projects to learn new technologies;– Opportunity for development and career growth in the areas of Tech/Team leadership, mentoring;– Work remotely or from a modern office in the historical part of Kyiv (Podil) with convenient transport links;– Office with autonomous power systems, uninterrupted Internet connection, coffee, tea, and snacks.
