Description du Poste

En tant que Director of Data Engineering, vous dirigerez l’équipe de Data Engineering dans le bureau de Dublin. Votres responsabilité principale consistera à développer une plateforme de big data innovante qui soutiendra des modèles d’analyse avancés et d’apprentissage machine, visant à améliorer les résultats de santé des membres de l’organisation. Vous aurez pour mission de :

• Intégrer plusieurs sources de données complexes en utilisant une infrastructure hybride (cloud et sur site).
• Utiliser des outils tels que Spark, Hive et Airflow pour optimiser la gestion des données.
• Développer des preuves de concept qui exploitent les données de manière créative.

Responsabilités Principales

Votre rôle impliquera :

• Encadrer et inspirer une équipe d’ingénieurs en données tout en favorisant un climat de collaboration et d’apprentissage continu.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les responsables en Data Science et Business Intelligence pour créer une infrastructure de données sécurisée et évolutive.
• Promouvoir des bonnes pratiques en matière de développement de code, déploiement et automatisation des pipelines de données.
• Mettre en œuvre des initiatives pour garantir la qualité et l’intégrité des données, y compris l’accès basé sur les rôles et l’automatisation des processus manuels.

Qualifications Requises

Les candidats doivent posséder les qualifications suivantes :

• Diplôme de Master en Informatique, ingénierie, mathématiques ou dans un domaine technologique connexe.
• Expérience prouvée dans la construction et l’échelle d’équipes performantes en ingénierie des données, idéalement dans le secteur de la santé.
• Connaissances approfondies des outils DevOps, des workflows Git et du développement de pipelines CI/CD.
• Expérience solide en architecture de données, modélisation de données et technologies de big data (par exemple, Snowflake, Spark).

Qualifications Préférées

En plus des qualifications requises, les candidats qui possèdent les compétences suivantes seront favorisés :

• Connaissances du secteur de la santé.
• Certifications en ingénierie des données.
• Expérience avec des outils de virtualisation des données comme Python Dash, Tableau.
• Connaissance en développement et déploiement de modèles d’IA et de machine learning.

Growing together.About the RoleAs Director of Data Engineering, you will be the leader of the Data Engineering Capability in our Ireland office that is focused on developing a new, cutting-edge big-data platform and that will support advanced analytics and machine learning models to improve health outcomes for our members. You will be responsible for leading the team that is focused on the integration of multiple complex data sources into our data platform with a mix of different infrastructure (i.e. on-prem, cloud) and various data applications and tools (i.e. Spark, Hive, HBase, Airflow, etc.). You will be making critical decisions, focused on innovation; developing proofs of concepts that leverage data in new and exciting ways. Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for building high-performing data engineering teams? If yes, we need your organizational talents and business discipline to help fuel the mission of building modern healthcare analytics powered by the data.Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a talented team of data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
• Collaborate with Data Science and Business Intelligence leaders to design and implement a secure, compliant, and scalable data infrastructure to support the organization’s growing date needs
• Build common frameworks and best practices in code development, deployment and automation/orchestration of data pipelines
• Identify, design, and champion process improvements throughout the processing lifecycle for: Data quality initiatives ensuring data integrity

• Data encryption
• Data de-identification to ensure data security
• Role-based data access
• Automating manual processes
• Optimizing data delivery
• Tuning and optimizing data processes for greater scalability, etc.
• Own and manage the deliverables assigned to the data engineering team, ensuring accurate, concise documentation of the code base including data ingestion an enrichment pipelines that support critical analytics, as well as production pipelines that feed into downstream systems
• Drive a performance-driven culture, setting clear goals and measuring results

Required Qualifications:

• MS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other technology fields
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing data engineering teams
• Deep understanding of DevOps tools, Git workflow and building CI/CD pipelines
• Solid experience in data engineering leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare industry
• Solid experience in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies (Snowflake, Scala, Spark, PySpark, etc.) as well as cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Solid leadership qualities, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, cross team collaboration
• A passion for innovation and a desire to make a significant impact on the healthcare industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other technology related fields
• Healthcare industry knowledge and experience
• Data engineering certifications
• Data virtualization tools and technology experience with tools like such Python Dash, Tableau, R-shiny, etc.
• Experience building statistical models using SAS or R
• ML and/or AI model development and deployment
