Responsabilités clés
Le titulaire de ce poste sera chargé de plusieurs missions essentielles :
- Coordination des stratégies : Élaborer et diriger des stratégies de collecte de fonds et de communication pour soutenir l’engagement d’Oxfam face à la pauvreté.
- Gestion d’équipe : Mener l’unité de collecte de fonds et de communication pour exécuter des plans et des budgets annuels alignés sur les objectifs d’Oxfam.
- Développement de revenu : Mettre en œuvre des plans innovants pour inspirer le soutien populaire aux initiatives d’Oxfam.
- Renforcement de la marque : Maintenir et améliorer le positionnement de la marque d’Oxfam auprès de divers publics.
- Encadrement et partenariat : Renforcer les canaux de collecte de fonds à travers le développement des compétences et ressources humaines.
- Représentation : Représenter Oxfam lors de forums locaux et internationaux pour mobiliser le soutien des gouvernements, entreprises et donateurs.
Exigences du Poste
Les candidats doivent répondre à plusieurs critères :
- Formation : Diplôme en marketing, gestion, communication ou domaine connexe.
- Expérience : Minimum de 15 ans d’expérience professionnelle, dont 8 ans dans des fonctions de leadership dans la région du Grand Chine.
- Compétences : Excellentes aptitudes en communication en anglais et en chinois, sens de l’innovation, capacité à travailler en équipe.
- Compréhension d’Oxfam : Alignement avec la vision et les valeurs d’Oxfam concernant l’allègement de la pauvreté et le développement durable.

📝 Description du poste : Responsibilities:
- Lead the charting of fundraising, engagement and communications strategies and delivery of results to support Oxfam work against poverty and related injustice in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and around the world.
- Lead and manage the Fundraising and Communications Unit, which comprises appeals, events, private partnership and communications teams, to formulate and execute annual plans and budgets to deliver the Oxfam goals and objectives in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China (the Greater China Region).
- Implement income development and communications plans which are creative, innovative and appropriate for inspiring popular support to Oxfam’s work against poverty.
- Maintain and enhance the brand positioning of the agency. Support the communication needs of Directorate and Programme Units. Serve a gate-keeping role in ensuring the quality of communications outputs of the whole agency.
- Lead team building to strengthen the agency’s fundraising channels and communications platforms, performance and partnerships through improving staff capability, developing human and organizational resources.
- As a member of the Senior Management Team, work in close coordination with other units of the agency and maintain productive working relationships and communications with the governance bodies. Also work in close liaison with Oxfam affiliates and the Oxfam International Secretariat.
- Direct and manage the establishment and upkeep of standards, protocols and performance of the agency fundraising to be recognized as best practices in the charitable INGO sector.
- Explore new opportunities, platforms and approaches to raise funds and communicate the agency brand values for wider and new public support. Inspire a new generation of supporters through a variety of digital and innovative marketing channels.
- Represent the agency in local and international forums to inspire and engage support from governments, corporates, foundations, donors, volunteers and the public to Oxfam mission.
- Contribute to risk register and alert agency with potential risk as necessary. Follow up the recommendations of the internal auditor in relation to the unit.
- Main location is based in Hong Kong headquarters and will have to travel to the Greater China Region and other programme countries of Oxfam when required.
Requirements:
- A degree in marketing, sales, business administration, communications or a related discipline
- At least 15 years’ working experience, including 8 years’ managerial and leadership experience in the Greater China region.
- Prior experience in fundraising and communications for non-profit organizations is preferred.
- Leadership and management experience and skills suited for a medium-sized non-profit organization.
- Understanding of Oxfam Hong Kong’s vision, mission and values on poverty alleviation, sustainable development, and humanitarian relief
- Knowledge and networks with multi-sectors (commercial, non-profit, government, social) in the Greater China Region.
- Strong team player and collaborator with an innovative mindset
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- High caliber presentation skills for communication with individual donors, senior executives of trusts, foundations, business and opinion leaders
- Experience in charitable organizations, INGOs, marketing in the Greater China region is preferred
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
