En tant que Director of Research and Development, vous intégrerez une équipe dynamique et motivée ayant pour mission de faire avancer la stratégie de recherche à travers l’ensemble des services du West London NHS Trust. Responsabilités Principales
Le rôle comprend plusieurs responsabilités clés :
- Responsabilité envers le Conseil d’Administration : Assurer la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de recherche via le Chief Medical Officer, tout en maintenant des arrangements de gouvernance solides.
- Soutien aux Responsables de Recherche : Aider les leaders de recherche sur site à développer leurs compétences personnelles et professionnelles.
- Gestion Budgétaire : Administrer le budget de la recherche et développement, promouvoir une culture de recherche tout en collaborant avec des organisations partenaires.
Profil Recherché
Qualifications Essentielles :
- Leader de santé expérimenté.
- Qualification clinique et expérience dans un rôle de clinicien senior.
Qualifications Désirables :
- Diplôme de troisième cycle en Leadership ou Gestion des soins de santé.
Compétences et Connaissances Essentielles :
- Expérience avérée en gestion de projets de recherche ou en direction dans des organisations complexes.
- Compréhension des indicateurs de performance de recherche et des processus de gouvernance au sein du NHS.
Connaissances Désirables :
- Connaissance des systèmes financiers du NHS.

📝 Description du poste : As the Director of Research and Development you would join a thriving and enthusiastic team to progress the Research Strategy across the full range of services in West London NHS Trust.The Trust has a growing research portfolio of clinically relevant research and strong relationships with Imperial College London and other academic organisations across the capital. The research portfolio spans mental health and community in the Boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith and Fulham, as well as High Secure, Medium, Low Secure and Community forensics.Lived experience and expertise inform our research agenda and service user involvement is integral to all aspects of research in the trust, including strategy development, governance of de-identified data resources, communications and being co-researchers on projects. The trust works with the vocational services to actively support those with lived experience taking up roles in research in the trust.Main duties of the jobKey areas of the role include being accountable to the Board for the Delivery of the Research Strategy, through the Chief Medical Officer, along with ensuring the trust has robust governance arrangements. Research leads are in post across the trust and the Director supports each of them to ensure they receive personal and professional development to thrive within their areas.
