Description du poste : A leading eCommerce company in the wellness industry, headquartered in the United States with offices in Guayaquil, Ecuador.Job Description: Director UX/UIIn this exciting career opportunity based in Guayaquil, we are seeking a professional to fill the position of UX/UI Director. As part of our team, we expect the selected candidate to bring valuable experience and hold a senior-level position.In this role you will be responsible for creating and maintain an amazing digital experience on the company’s ecommerce Desktop and Mobile website and Apps.The role requires intimate experience of the customer journey from browsing to ordering a product on the site.The UI/UX experience director needs to be able to understand information flow and be able to design an interface around the information that is intuitive, appealing, and responsive.You will be responsible for leading the design team. People Management Tasks: Hire employees, Mentor, and advise, promote employees, Assign and evaluate work, Terminate employees, Review performance annually.
Requisitos:Main Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and coordinate the design team, ensuring high standards of quality and goal achievement.
• Design and optimize landing pages and websites, focusing on usability and conversion.
• Keep the corporate website updated and ensure its optimal functionality and aesthetics.
• Oversee the consistency and updating of all digital customer touchpoints (social media, interfaces, communications).
• Direct the audiovisual content production for social media and websites.
• Manage internal and external communication from a 360° branding perspective, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.
• Monitor and update the digital customer experience across platforms and interfaces.
• Translate business needs into intuitive, simple, and visually appealing design solutions.
• Ensure a consistent user experience aligned with brand values across all digital products.

Requirements

• Previous Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in similar roles, ideally in e-commerce or digital environments
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
• Mandatory Technical Knowledge:

• Strong command of UX/UI methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in interface and user experience design
• Advanced knowledge of social media management from a branding and strategy perspective
• Advanced English (minimum level C1).
