Rôle et Responsabilités

Le Superviseur de Centre de Distribution sera sous la responsabilité du Responsable de l’Usine Focus. Ce rôle crucial implique d’assurer la direction et le coaching des employés horaires afin de garantir un fonctionnement sécurisé et efficient de l’équipe. Les responsabilités incluent, sans s’y limiter :

• Coordonner avec les fournisseurs pour maintenir le flux de matériaux.
• Aligner les livraisons de matériaux sur les horaires de production afin d’éviter les goulets d’étranglement.
• Inspecter les matériaux entrants pour valider leur conformité aux normes requises.
• Évaluer et superviser le personnel responsable de la réception, de la distribution et du suivi des matériaux.
• Réagir rapidement aux perturbations de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
• Montrer l’engagement envers les politiques de santé, de sécurité et d’environnement (EHS).
• Suivre les performances et mettre en œuvre des actions correctives pour atteindre les objectifs fixés.

Conditions de Travail

Ce poste requiert une exposition variable aux risques d’accidents et nécessite le respect strict des consignes de sécurité. Le travail se déroulera dans un environnement partagé, alternant entre le sol d’atelier et des espaces de bureau. Bien que l’exposition à des matériaux dangereux ne soit pas régulière, il sera nécessaire de porter des équipements de protection individuelle (EPI) afin de minimiser les risques.

Qualifications Requises

Qualifications de Base :

• Avoir un diplôme de niveau secondaire ou GED obtenu dans une institution accréditée.
• Posséder au moins 1 an d’expérience en tant que superviseur dans un environnement de fabrication lourd, incluant la gestion des stocks.

Qualifications Préférées :

• Bac + 3 en ingénierie (Électrique, Mécanique) ou en gestion.
• Au moins 3 ans d’expérience dans un milieu de fabrication ou industriel.
• Aptitude à communiquer efficacement et à déléguer tout en maintenant le cap sur les objectifs.
• Compétences interpersonnelles élevées pour motiver et influencer les autres.
• Capacité démontrée en résolution de problèmes, pensée systémique et gestion de projets.

Reporting to the Focus Factory Manager, this position provides the first level of authority in the workplace. The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and clear direction to ensure the hourly workforce works safely, meets customer demands, solves problems, eliminates waste, and achieves goals. This position will be mainly afternoon turn.Direct reports include the hourly employees in the respective area and shift. The incumbent will communicate with personnel and management in the Operations, Maintenance, and EHS Departments.Accountability ObjectivesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring materials arrive when needed, avoiding excess stock and reducing storage costs.
• Communicating with vendors to maintain flow of materials.
• Aligning material deliveries with production schedules to prevent bottlenecks.

• Overseeing the clocking in and out procedures for all hourly crafts persons under their supervision to ensure that the HR Department receives the right information to pay employees correctly and on-time.
• Creating and submitting product orders for operational expense items based on departmental need to ensure the continual operation of the department with minimal operational interference.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Working ConditionsThis position involves varying degrees of exposure to risk of accident and requires following basic safety precautions. Work is normally performed in a shared work environment, divided between the shop floor and an atypical interior work space. While not regularly exposed to hazardous materials, the potential to encounter such hazards requires wearing chemical resistant protective wear as necessary. This position does, however, require wearing full PPE always to protect from mobile equipment and hot materials when on the shop floor.This position requires heavy physical activity, such as walking, sitting, and standing for long periods of time.This position also requires a flexible work schedule, which includes working the occasional weekend, as requested.
