La Faculté de Médecine de l’Université de Helsinki ouvre des candidatures pour un poste fixe de Doctoral Researcher à partir du 1er septembre 2025, ou selon accord. Le candidat participera au projet intitulé “Systems Pharmacology for Rational Combinatorial Cancer Therapy”, dans le Jafari Lab, en collaboration avec l’Université de Tampere, financé par la Fondation ERKKO.
Ce poste est initialement prévu pour un an, avec la possibilité d’une extension, et nous espérons que le candidat pourra rejoindre l’équipe à l’automne 2025.
Contexte
Le groupe de recherche met en œuvre des stratégies de pharmacologie systémique afin de concevoir des thérapies combinatoires rationnelles pour le cancer. Les activités de recherche se concentrent sur les défis suivants :
- Prioriser les combinaisons de médicaments sur la base des réponses individuelles aux traitements.
- Optimiser les stratégies de traitement pour la synergie, l’efficacité et la toxicité.
- Déchiffrer les mécanismes d’action des médicaments à travers des approches de déconvulsion des cibles et l’omics fonctionnelle.
Le poste implique l’utilisation étendue de la protéomique, la métabolomique et la phosphoprotéomique basées sur la spectrométrie de masse pour comprendre les réponses aux médicaments à un niveau systémique.
Profil Recherché
Nous recherchons un candidat motivé, de niveau débutant, ayant une expérience interdisciplinaire dans les techniques de laboratoire humide et computationnelles. Le poste s’adresse à un diplômé de niveau MSc, planifiant de poursuivre un doctorat.
Le projet inclura le profilage des cellules cancéreuses AML traitées avec des combinaisons de médicaments, en utilisant des données multi-omics. Les compétences requises comprennent :
- Essentielles :
- Diplôme MSc (ou en cours d’obtention) en bioinformatique, biochimie, biotechnologie ou domaine connexe.
- Expérience en analyse de données basées sur la spectrométrie de masse.
- Solide compréhension des statistiques et du traitement de données omiques.
- Maîtrise de R ou Python pour l’analyse bioinformatique.
- Expérience pratique en culture cellulaire, pipetage et préparation d’échantillons.
- Aptitudes en communication orale et écrite en anglais.
- Désirables :
- Familiarité avec des outils de prétraitement (e.g., MaxQuant, MS-DIAL, MetaboAnalyst, Sirius).
- Expérience en communication scientifique (e.g., présentations en conférence, GitHub, affiches).
Compétences Personnelles :
- Motivation élevée pour la recherche scientifique.
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome ou en équipe.
- Esprit de résolution de problèmes et adaptabilité.
Le candidat doit avoir le droit de poursuivre un doctorat à l’Université de Helsinki au début de l’engagement ou faire une demande séparée pour ce droit pendant la période d’essai de six mois.
