Description du poste
Rôle principal : En tant que Senior Facilitator, le titulaire aura la responsabilité de former et d’accompagner des militaires dans leur transition vers des professions civiles, à travers des ateliers et des conseils adaptés.
- Enseigner à des militaires et à leurs familles comment identifier leurs objectifs et combler les lacunes en matière d’emploi et d’éducation.
- Fournir des conseils sur la recherche d’emploi, les processus de candidature, le réseautage, ainsi que sur les opportunités de formation technique et de certification.
- Menacer des sessions d’instruction sur la recherche d’emploi, en utilisant un curriculum standardisé dispensé en présentiel ou en ligne.
- Faciliter des discussions de groupe, allant de petites à grandes audiences, tout en interagissant de manière professionnelle avec des participants à divers niveaux hiérarchiques.
- Collaborer avec le Lead Facilitator pour intégrer des techniques de facilitation efficaces.
Exigences et qualifications
Pour réussir dans ce rôle : Une approche rigoureuse et une expérience solide sont essentielles.
- Un diplôme d’Associate avec 5 ans d’expérience en tant qu’instructeur dans le cadre du Transition Assistance Program (TAP) ou un diplôme de Bachelor avec 3 ans d’expérience.
- Une connaissance approfondie des compétences en conversion militaires vers le secteur civil, notamment en matière de recrutement et de recherche d’emploi.
- Capacité à gérer des groupes allant jusqu’à 50 participants et à communiquer efficacement avec un public diversifié.
- Maîtrise des logiciels MS Windows et Office.
- Disponibilité pour voyager jusqu’à 50% du temps et travailler parfois en dehors des heures de bureau, y compris les weekends et jours fériés.
Conditions de travail
Information additionnelle :
- Le Senior Facilitator sera assigné à un emplacement principal, avec des déplacements vers des sites satellite si nécessaire. Des remboursements de voyage sont offerts pour les missions au-delà de 50 miles.
- Une formation complète sera fournie et doit être complétée au cours du premier mois d’emploi.
- Les horaires seront flexibles, généralement de 2 à 3 jours consécutifs par semaine.

📝 Description du poste : Position DescriptionJOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare ~200,000 service members who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemembers through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, as well as connection to approved government and non-government partners. Our team ensures servicemembers and their families have the necessary career tools and information to seamlessly transition into the civilian workforce.The DOL VETS TAP program is in need of a skilled and compassionate Senior Facilitator who has prior experience teaching and/or instructing military personnel transitioning to civilian professional and vocational occupations.In this role, you will:
- Teach and/or instruct military personnel transitioning to civilian professional and vocational occupations.
- Guide the transitioning military service members in identifying goals along with recognizing any employment or education gaps.
- Provide transitioning service members (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing.
- Assist in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools.
- Assist in mentoring facilitators in standardized curriculum and apply effective facilitation techniques.
- As needed, assist the Lead Facilitator with administrative tasks.
- Conduct small and large group instruction on the job search process.
- Deliver standardized curriculum via in-person or virtual classrooms.
- Must be able to interact and facilitate with Executive Level participants.
- Meet country specific employment requirements as applicable.

Additional information:
- Senior Facilitator is assigned a primary location within a hub that has satellite locations.
- Senior Facilitator is trained on the CORE DOL standardized curriculum and the other DOL TAP curricula. Senior Facilitators are to maintain certification.
- Any facilitation assignment that is greater than 50 miles from primary location, then, travel will be reimbursed.
- Comprehensive training is provided and expected to be completed within the first month of employment.
- Part-time Senior Facilitator’s schedules can vary weekly. Generally, facilitators work 2 – 3 days consecutively.

- Associate’s degree and 5 years of Transition Assistance Program (TAP) instructor or career counseling experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of Transition Assistance Program (TAP0 training experience.
- Previous experience which demonstrates understanding of recruitment, hiring and effective job seeking skills in private and public sectors.
- Must be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.
- Must demonstrate the ability to provide standardized training to groups with up to 50 participants.
- Familiar with MS Windows and Office.
- The ability to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to professionally engage with a diverse audience, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- The ability to travel up to 50%
- May require extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must have excellent time management skills, able to work independently and follow directions.
