Description du Poste

Le poste de Driver & Inventory Controller se concentre sur la gestion efficace de l’inventaire tout en assurant la sécurité et la ponctualité des livraisons de produits. Le candidat retenu aura un rôle clé dans la comptabilisation précise de l’inventaire et le transport fiable des biens.

Responsabilités Clés

Gestion de l’Inventaire

• Suivi régulier des niveaux d’inventaire pour anticiper la demande.
• Maintien d’une base de données d’inventaire précise incluant équipements, pièces et fournitures.
• Réception et vérification des expéditions entrantes pour garantir leur conformité.
• Conduire des audits d’inventaire physique réguliers.

Livraison

• Assurer que tout équipement sortant est correctement documenté.
• Planifier et optimiser les itinéraires de livraison.

Collaboration en Équipe

• Collaborer avec l’équipe de production et de livraison pour respecter les délais de livraison clients.

Respect des Normes de Sécurité

• Adhérer à toutes les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise, y compris les directives de sécurité.

Exigences du Poste

Qualifications Essentielles

• Expérience de 3 ans ou plus dans un rôle similaire.
• Diplôme de niveau matriciel.
• Permis de conduire valide de catégorie B avec un dossier de conduite vierge.

Compétences Techniques et Savoir-Faire

• Gestion de l’Inventaire : Maintien de registres précis et réalisation d’audits de stock.
• Logistique de Livraison : Optimisation des itinéraires et gestion de la documentation de livraison.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:As an Inventory Controller/Driver, your purpose is to assume a dual role that combines the efficient management of our inventory with the safe and timely transportation of goods.Your responsibilities are instrumental in ensuring that our inventory is accurately accounted for, efficiently handled, and reliably delivered to its intended destinations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Inventory Control:

• Monitor inventory levels regularly to ensure sufficient stock levels are available to meet incoming demand by forecasting demand accurately.
• Maintain an accurate inventory database, tracking all IT equipment, parts, and supplies, including serial numbers, quantities, and locations.
• Perform internal/external order processing and problem investigation to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness and report any discrepancies to the procurement team.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile database records with physical stock and address any discrepancies identified.
• Maintain effective and efficient stock control by following Supply Chain management processes and procedures and meeting Operation-level agreement (OLA) requirements.
• Conduct bi-weekly cycle counts and twice annual stock counts.
• Organise and store inventory items in a systematic and secure manner to prevent damage, loss, or theft.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Team Lead.

Delivery:

• Check that all equipment leaving the office has an invoice to ensure accurate record-keeping and accountability.
• Dispatch equipment to vendors, suppliers, customers and internal staff utilizing the delivery management system
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport inventory to various locations to ensure the integrity of goods during transit.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize time and fuel consumption.
• Complete all required documentation for deliveries, including delivery receipts, signed PODs, and any special instructions.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the Procurement team to meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure hardware is delivered as per customer instructions.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including delivery documentation, recipient details, and any issues encountered.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the inventory management system.
• Store client documentation (i.e. Invoices) under relevant client folders in the document management platform.
• Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or required maintenance to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable at all times.
• Perform annual vehicle registrations

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer concerns or questions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues.
• Represent the company professionally during all interactions with customers and the public.
• Always maintains a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation and inventory management regulations.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a safe working environment.

Personal Development:

• Complete own training and development objectives as per agreed timelines in the personal development plan.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal, technical, and career development.
• Stay current with the latest technology trends, products, and solutions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:Essential:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Matric
• Code B Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Familiarity with IT equipment and terminologies
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary
• Willingness and aspiration to grow within the IT industry
