Les candidats retenus joueront un rôle crucial dans le câblage électrique et l’assemblage mécanique de matériel de switchgear à faible et moyen voltage. Le poste nécessite une attention élevée à la qualité et à la précision, des compétences essentielles dans un environnement à la fois rapide et technologique.

Responsabilités Clés

Les responsabilités incluent :

• Assemblage : Construire des équipements électromécaniques en suivant des plans d’ingénierie et des calendriers de production.
• Normes de Qualité : Maintenir des standards élevés tant en usine qu’aux locaux des clients.
• Maintenance : Effectuer des entretiens mécaniques et électriques, y compris des modifications sur site.
• Test de Panneaux : Réaliser des tests, notamment des tests d’injection de courant, pour assurer la conformité.
• Mentorat : Soutenir et conseiller les membres de l’équipe, partageant expertise et meilleures pratiques.

Qualifications Requises

Compétences essentielles :

• Qualification électrique de City & Guilds et apprentissage en ingénierie avec AM2 ou équivalent.
• Expérience dans la fabrication de switchgear ou dans un domaine similaire.
• Certification 18ème édition à jour.
• Capacité démontrée dans l’assemblage d’équipements électromécaniques.

Compétences souhaitées :

• Connaissances mécaniques appréciées.
• Familiarité avec les évaluations de risques et les procédures.

• Assembling electrical switchgear and related electromechanical equipment based on engineering drawings and production schedules.
• Maintaining high-quality standards both in the factory and at customer premises.
• Working from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure precise assembly.
• Contribute to the fitting, building, and construction of various parts for seamless component integration.
• Conducting mechanical and electrical maintenance, including site modifications and thermal imaging inspections.
• Ensuring a clean, safe working environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Performing testing of panels, including current injection testing.
• Supporting and mentoring team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices.
• Reporting on any substandard, malfunctioning, or defective parts.
• Selecting, measuring and modifying components to ensure proper fit.
• Carrying out MTOs and order materials for allocated tasks, both internally and for site works.
• Assembling prototype and development units in collaboration with supervisors and managers.
• Conducting thermal imaging inspections and compile reports.

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification & an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or Equivalent.
• Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
• Experience in field service work / on-site installations.
• Current 18th Edition Certification.
• Time-served Electricians or Technicians.
• Experience in panel wiring, motor control centres, control panels

OR

• Industrial installation experience in water treatment plants, petrochemical environments, instrumentation, etc.

Desirable Skills, Qualification and Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
• Familiar with Risk Assessments and Method statements.
