- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Technical Oversight:
- Guide technology strategy, system design and architectural decisions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and assess their applicability.
Portfolio Management:
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of software engineering projects or products, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and priorities.
Operational Excellence:
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with different managers, stakeholders, and other department leads.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between the engineering team and executive leadership.
Opportunity to manage a teamDecision maker
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Deep understanding of software architecture.
- Programming languages (Java, .Net, JavaScript, REACT, etc).
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Good level of English.
