– Manage secretariat responsibilities for quarterly Ethics Committee Session;
– To collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance officers, and other professionals, to promote a culture of ethics;
– Manage Ethics engagements and awareness programs in PVA, through design, implementation, and maintenance;
– To manage projects and vendors for Ethics-related assignments, including contract & budget management;
– Develop PVA’ Ethics programme and ensure a successful corporate ethics culture;
– Provide support on regulation landscape within the Compliance and Internal Controls function and be the compliance partner with other business functions;
– Be regulatory advisor on labor law landscape for HR;
– Support Product T&C development for Product team.Compliance and Internal ControlsAll members in the Compliance and Internal Control team are expected to:Promote proactive risk and compliance culture at PVA and working effectively with all stakeholders across all Lines of Defense; Ensuring high operating integrity and robustness of the internal control environment; Support in other matters related to compliance and other project relevant to compliance functions as requested by line manager; Ensure timely escalation of any compliance or risk related matters to the line manager; Other tasks to be assigned by the line manager.Regulatory AdvisoryReview and support PVA through the review of business contracts from a compliance perspective. Highlight any initial and ongoing obligations that PVA are bound by in new and existing agreements where applicable. Ensure that disciplinary notices issued by PVA meet local legislative and policy requirements (e.g. relating to staff, agent conduct etc.) by working with the relevant teams such as PVA Human Resources division, PVA Sales Force Disciplinary Committee (SFDC), PVA GA Council (GAC), CLR Investigations team etc. Maintenance of the PVA product marketing materials disclaimer library. Ensure that the disclaimer library is kept up to date, and that the latest versions are communicated to business users on a timely basis when changes are approved. Setting up and implementing necessary standard operating procedures for general operation of compliance plan to ensure that it is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable rules and regulations – including but not limited to the PVA Compliance Manual and its supporting documentation. Support PVA with the development and implementation of the Product T&C and any supporting documentation for the Product T&C as required and agreed by the Product Team. Ensure ongoing compliance with local regulatory and Group related Compliance requirements.EthicsArrange for the quarterly PVA Staffs & Ethics Governance Committee with defined TOR and committee members as empowered by the PVA Members Council; Manage ethics related engagements and awareness programs in PVA, through design, implementation, and maintenance including but not limited to managing and delivering ethics related materials and collaterals for PVA (inclusive of Agents, Contingent Workers etc. as necessary); Manage related tasks as a risk coordinator for ethics, i.e. identify, assess and mitigate ethics related risks, and develop strategies to minimize exposure. Manage projects and vendors for ethics related assignments, including contract & budget management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance officers, and other professionals, to promote a culture of integrity, employee conduct and ethics.GovernancePerform corporate secretarial duties for the PVA Staffs & Ethics Governance Committee; Secretarial duties include but are not limited to ensuring that the membership, agenda, minutes and running of the committees are run according to the terms of reference (TOR) as empowered by the PVA Members Council or other governing bodies.Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
