Le Département de Géographie et de Gestion des Ressources de l’Université Chinoise de Hong Kong (CUHK) recrute un Executive Officer II pour son programme de Urban Studies. Ce programme interdisciplinaire vise à former de futurs professionnels dans divers domaines liés à l’urbanisme, tels que la planification urbaine, le design urbain, l’analyse urbaine et la recherche urbaine.
Contexte et Importance du Programme
Le Programme d’Études Urbaines est réalisé en collaboration avec l’École d’Architecture de l’université, et est reconnu comme l’un des meilleurs programmes de planification urbaine dans la Greater Bay Area. Accrédité par le Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) et le Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), ce programme offre aux étudiants une formation adaptée aux défis contemporains des environnements urbains en constante évolution.
Responsabilités du Poste
Le titulaire du poste assumera diverses responsabilités, notamment :
- Gestion administrative du programme, incluant le budget et les questions de personnel.
- Administration des admissions et des affaires étudiantes.
- Fourniture de soutien secretarial aux comités.
- Organisation d’activités académiques et non académiques.
- Gestion des relations avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.
- Supervision du personnel de soutien.
- Exécution d’autres tâches selon les besoins.
Qualifications Requises
Les candidats doivent répondre aux critères suivants :
- Un bachelor’s degree.
- Fulfillment des exigences linguistiques en anglais, tel que précisé sur le site web de l’université.
- Au moins 3 ans d’expérience exécutive post-qualification, avec une connaissance de l’administration de programmes de premier ou de deuxième cycle souhaitable.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais écrit et parlé ainsi que du chinois (la maîtrise du cantonais est préférée).
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome avec une attitude de travail responsable.
- Compétences interpersonnelles et de communication fortes.
- Une expérience antérieure similaire et une expérience en matière d’accréditation de programmes sont très appréciées.

Executive Officer IIThe Urban Studies Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is jointly organised by the Department of Geography and Resource Management and the School of Architecture, under the Faculty of Social Science. This interdisciplinary programme is designed for students interested in understanding the complexities and challenges of the rapidly evolving urban world. It aims to train the next generation of professionals in urban planning, urban design, urban analytics, and urban research. The programme is accredited by both the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and is recognised as one of the leading urban planning programmes in the Greater Bay Area. The Department is now inviting applications for the post of Executive Officer II to join the Urban Studies Programme. Further details of the Programme are available at .The appointee will be responsible for (a) managing programme administration, including budget, personnel matters, and quality assurance; (b) administering admission and student-related matters; (c) providing secretarial support to committees; (d) organising academic and non-academic activities; (e) liaising with internal and external stakeholders; (f) supervising supporting staff; and (g) performing other duties as assigned.Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: ; (iii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably with knowledge of undergraduate and/or postgraduate programme administration; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (proficiency in Cantonese is preferred); (v) self-motivation, a meticulous and responsible work attitude, and the ability to work independently; and (vi) strong interpersonal and communication skills. Prior work experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
