- 🛠️ Design, develop, and test advanced explosives and pyrotechnic formulations for defense applications.
- 🔥 Conduct experimental trials to optimize explosive performance, stability, and safety.
- 🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate explosive technologies into defense systems.
- 📊 Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports to support ongoing R&D efforts.
📦 Storage and Handling
- 🔒 Oversee safe storage of explosives and pyrotechnics in line with defense industry standards and regulations.
- 🏷️ Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and inventory management of explosive materials.
- ✅ Implement best practices for safe handling during manufacturing, testing, and transportation processes.
🚚 Transport & Logistics
- 📍 Manage secure transport of explosives and pyrotechnics in compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., IMDG Code, ADR, SDR).
- 🔄 Coordinate logistics for the movement of sensitive materials between facilities or testing sites while ensuring minimal risk.
📝 Licensing & Compliance for R&D
- 🌍 Obtain and maintain import/export licenses for explosives and pyrotechnics in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- ✅ Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international laws governing production, storage, handling, and transport.
- 📌 Serve as the point of contact for audits or inspections by regulatory authorities.
⚠️ Safety & Risk Management
- 🔎 Conduct hazard assessments to identify risks associated with explosive materials during R&D, storage, or transport activities.
- 🛡️ Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks to personnel and facilities.
- 🎯 Provide training to staff on proper handling techniques and emergency response procedures.
RequirementsWhat You’ll Need📘 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.💣 5–7 years of experience in explosives or pyrotechnic-related R&D or production within the defense sector (or a similar field).🧪 Hands-on experience managing laboratory/R&D storage facilities for hazardous materials.✅ Proven track record of obtaining regulatory R&D licenses for explosives production or transport.Who You AreYou are a highly skilled professional with strong analytical abilities, specializing in R&D processes, where you demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
