L’opportunité : L’équipe des Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) recherche des Senior Managers/Managers pour soutenir nos efforts croissants dans la durabilité et la décarbonisation. Nous collaborons avec de nombreux clients afin de les aider à gérer les risques et les opportunités qui émergent dans une transition accélérée vers un monde à faibles émissions de carbone.
Responsabilités clés
En tant que membre de notre équipe, vous travaillerez avec certains des plus grands et des plus influents groupes mondiaux. Le candidat retenu sera chargé de diriger des projets client, alliant expertise en matière de durabilité et développement de relations solides avec des parties prenantes internes et externes.
- Diriger des projets clients, en assurant la qualité et la pertinence du travail fourni.
- Gérer les aspects commerciaux des projets, incluant la budgétisation et la communication des progrès.
- Contribuer à la génération de nouvelles opportunités commerciales en se concentrant sur les agendas du changement climatique et de la décarbonisation.
- Établir des relations solides au sein d’EY, favorisant les interactions inter-services.
- Contribuer au développement de l’équipe via le recrutement, le coaching et la formation.
Compétences et attributs pour le succès
- Capacité à communiquer des sujets complexes et évolutifs en matière de durabilité à divers interlocuteurs.
- Gestion efficace de grandes équipes multidisciplinaires et diversifiées.
- Communicateur confiant, alliant connaissances techniques et compréhension commerciale.
- Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale.
- Expérience dans la gestion des attentes des parties prenantes internes et externes.
- Capacité à promouvoir le développement commercial et à contribuer à la croissance des solutions d’EY.
Qualifications souhaitées
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, une expérience de six ans minimum dans les domaines ci-dessous est idéale :
- Développement et/ou mise en œuvre de stratégies de durabilité, ESG, décarbonisation et zéro émission.
- Évaluation des émissions de gaz à effet de serre des produits et services.
- Réalisations d’analyses de risques climatiques et plans d’adaptation.
- Connaissance des normes de divulgation climatiques et environnementales (TCFD, GRI, etc.).
- Contexte académique solide en sciences de l’environnement, économie, ingénierie, ou politiques publiques.

We work closely with companies to help them manage the risks and opportunities that arise from an accelerating transition to a low-carbon world, responding to new and/or enhanced regulations, adapting business models, products and services, as well as improving transparency and disclosures. This is a very exciting time to join a high-profile team where you will be surrounded by a wide range of sustainability professionals.We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experience in the fields of ESG/ sustainability, decarbonisation and climate change, and EHS management.Your key responsibilitiesAs part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with many of the world’s largest and most influential companies across industries and sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading client projects, where you will be expected to contribute both deep subject matter expertise in sustainability as well as building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders alike. As an influential member of the team, you will help create a positive and proactive learning culture and will undertake coaching with team members to help them develop.As a Senior Manager/ Manager in the team you can expect to be involved in some of the following activities:
- Lead client projects, provide subject matter expertise and ensure quality work is produced and delivered to clients
- Manage commercial aspects of client projects such as budgeting, adhere to EY’s risk management policies and procedures, and communicate progress and escalate any significant issues to partners and clients
- Assist with generating new business opportunities, industry networks and relationships with a focus on climate change and decarbonisation agendas
- Build strong internal relationships within EY, including cross-service interactions with EY’s Global network
- Contribute to and help shape the team’s development through recruitment activities, coaching, mentoring, and training
Skills and attributes for success
- Ability to clearly define and communicate complex and evolving sustainability topics to a range of stakeholders across different industries and sectors
- Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate large multi-disciplinary and diverse teams
- Confident and credible communicator who displays both technical knowledge, commercial understanding and emotional maturity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with managing expectation of both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability and appetite to drive business development and contribute to the growth of EY’s solutions
To succeed in the role, you will ideally have experience/qualifications in some of the areas below:
- Developing and/or implementing sustainability, ESG linked, and/or decarbonisation and net zero strategies
- Assessing life cycle greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) of products and/or services
- Designing and undertaking climate risk and vulnerability assessments and developing adaptation plans using different quantitative and qualitative research and analytical techniques
- Conducting scenario analysis and qualitative/quantitative physical and transition risk assessments with an understanding of TCFD guidance and/or corporate risk reporting
- Climate and sustainability-related disclosure standards/guidance such as TCFD, IIRC, IFRS, GRI and SASB amongst others
- Strong knowledge of climate change policy and regulations across industries including, but not limited to, iron&steel, cement, transportation, energy, agriculture, consumer goods, and real estate
- Experience communicating with senior management on a range of climate change, ESG and /or risk management topics
- Experience leading successful research or commercial bids
- Strong academic background in areas such as environmental science, economics, engineering, public policy – amongst others
