Description des Missions
Résumé du poste : Le Test Engineer sera responsable de la validation des composants et systèmes matériels dans des environnements réels. Les responsabilités incluent la réalisation de tests sur le terrain, l’analyse des données, le dépannage et la préparation de rapports détaillés. Le candidat travaillera de concert avec les équipes de design, développement et assurance qualité.
Responsabilités Clés
- Conduct Field Testing : Mener des tests exhaustifs sur les composants matériels pour évaluer leur performance dans diverses conditions.
- Data Collection and Analysis : Rassembler et analyser les données des tests pour identifier des problèmes et des domaines à améliorer.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes liés au matériel rencontrés lors des tests.
- Documentation : Préparer des rapports détaillés sur les résultats des tests, incluant observations et recommandations.
- Collaboration : Travailler étroitement avec les équipes de conception et de développement.
- Compliance : S’assurer que tous les tests respectent les normes de l’industrie et les exigences réglementaires.
- Continuous Improvement : Proposer des améliorations aux méthodologies de test afin d’accroître l’efficacité.
- Support with Product Support and Demo Activities : Participer aux activités de soutien produit et de démonstration.

Compétences Techniques :
- Connaissance des outils et équipements de test matériel.
- Expérience en testing matériel ou de terrain.
- Familiarité avec les technologies RF, y compris 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, WiFi et Bluetooth.
- Compréhension de la fonctionnalité des logiciels.

📝 Description du poste : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer with a focus on hardware (HW) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating hardware components and systems in real-world environments to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and quality. This role requires occasional travel up to 40% of work time and close co-operation with customers, partners, and the entire product organization.Job summary:You will work in close collaboration with the whole Product Organization. You will have the responsibility for conducting field tests on hardware components and systems, gathering and analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and preparing detailed reports. You will also collaborate with design, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure hardware meets specified requirements and standards.Your roleMore specifically, as a Test Engineer, you will:
- Conduct Field Testing: Perform comprehensive field tests on hardware components and systems to evaluate their performance under various conditions.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from field tests to identify issues, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues encountered during field testing.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of test results, including observations, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure hardware meets specified requirements and standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all hardware testing complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to testing methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support with Product Support and Demo Activities: Provide your support for product support activities and demo activities.
What we’re looking forTechnical skills
- Knowledge of hardware testing tools and equipment, data analysis software, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in hardware testing, field testing, or a related role.
- Experience with a range of end devices and RF technologies, including 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
- Experience and eye on hardware usability
- Basic understanding of software functionality

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Language requirement: English (fluent in written and spoken) – a must. Finnish – a plus.
