À Propos de l’Équipe Metabolic Health
Au fil des ans, Oura a élargi son champ d’expertise au-delà du sommeil pour inclure d’autres aspects essentiels de la santé tels que l’activité physique, la santé cardiovasculaire et la gestion du stress. L’équipe de santé métabolique se concentre sur l’amélioration de la santé métabolique des membres par le biais d’intégrations avec des capteurs externes, la capture de données alimentaires et la fourniture d’informations pratiques.
Responsabilités du Poste
Le candidat retenu sera chargé de :
- Architecturer et développer des fonctionnalités pour l’application Android d’Oura en utilisant Kotlin, Compose, Room, Coroutines et Flow.
- Collaborer au sein d’une équipe pluridisciplinaire composée d’ingénieurs, de designers et d’experts en santé.
- Refactoriser des fonctionnalités existantes pour améliorer la qualité du code et la performance.
- Assurer un haut niveau de qualité à travers des revues de code et des tests automatiques.
- Utiliser des flux et des coroutines Kotlin pour gérer efficacement la programmation asynchrone.
Profil Recherché

Like sleep, activity, cardiovascular health, and stress & resilience, metabolic health is an integral component of health and well-being. Currently this means helping our members track and improve their metabolic health via facilitating glucose tracking through integrations with external Stelio biosensors, capturing nutrition intake data, and delivering actionable insights derived from that information that helps educate and inspire members to healthier metabolic decisions while maintaining a psychologically healthy relationship with food.This is an on-site (Helsinki, Oulu) or remote Finland-based senior role.What you will do:
- Architect, design, build and maintain features to the Oura Android app using Kotlin, Compose, Room, Coroutines and Flow.
- Work in a cross functional squad together with a passionate group of engineers, designers, data scientists, our product manager, health science experts and other stakeholders.
- Refactor existing features to improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Ensure high quality through code reviews, automatic testing, and engineering best practices.
- Use Kotlin flows and coroutines for efficient asynchronous programming and handling complex state flows in the UI.
We would love to have You on our team if You have:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional development experience shipping Android apps.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and modern Android app architectures.
- Taking strong ownership of the Android team’s work from technical planning to ensuring we ship working and high quality features.
- A proactive, get-stuff-done attitude.
- Drives and delivers on complex and often ambiguous initiatives with minimal guidance
- Thriving in a dynamic startup-like environment. We’re building something completely new within the Oura app, and many of us come from startup backgrounds. We move and experiment fast, with continuous product discovery ongoing. We believe in creating value through iterative and incremental development as opposed to big bang releases.
- Solid understanding of what you build as a whole, both from an engineering and end-user perspective.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with collaborative development on complex shared codebases.
- A focus on quality through automated testing

- Personal interest in diet, nutrition and overall metabolic health
- Experience with health, wellness, or fitness products.
