Amplified by our connections to the broader tourism industry and manufacturing sectors.Purpose:Lead our fleet team strategically to enhance performance, productivity, and efficiency in vehicle movement. Ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time for timely repairs, compliance renewals, smooth processes, minimal rework, and reduced customer wait times.Requirements:
- Experience in Travel and Tourism or customer service roles is beneficial.
Key Criteria:
- Full and clean current Driver’s licence
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in vehicle deliverables with technical knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude/understanding
- Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant applications
- Ability to work under pressure
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Reliable team player with flexibility and experience
- Physical fitness for required tasks
- Willingness to work on a flexible rotating roster, including weekends
Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management: Coordinate vehicles to ensure timely repairs and compliance, maintain reports, and implement customer satisfaction strategies.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, manage daily activities, and ensure effective rostering.
- Communication: Develop and communicate clear strategies, influence branch targets, and ensure smooth operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and best practices, collaborate with other departments.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in projects, develop plans to meet objectives and timelines.
- Health and Safety: Champion health and safety, coach and train in safe work procedures, manage risks, incidents, and rehabilitation plans.
