Dans un environnement en constante évolution, DEPT recherche un Freelancer: SQL DBA avec une forte expérience dans le domaine des bases de données. Le poste s’appuie sur une approche dynamique et collaborative, visant à résoudre des défis complexes et à répondre aux besoins des clients. Le projet est initialement prévu pour une durée de 6 mois.

Responsabilités clés :
- Performance Optimization : Surveillez les performances, identifiez les goulets d’étranglement et mettez en œuvre des solutions.
- Troubleshooting et Maintenance : Résolvez les problèmes, corrigez les erreurs et assurez la santé générale des bases de données.
- Sécurité des données : Protégez les informations sensibles à travers des contrôles d’accès et un cryptage adéquat.
- Conception et mise en œuvre de bases de données.
Compétences techniques requises
- Solide compréhension de SQL Server et de ses principes de conception.
- Maîtrise des langages de script.
- Compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes : le rôle exige une approche investigatrice.
- Capacité à communiquer et à collaborer au sein d’équipes distribuées.
- Une expérience avec les anciennes versions de SQL Server (telles que 2017 et les mises à jour vers 2019 ou 2022) serait un atout.

While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients’ problems, no matter where you are in the world.THE ROLEDEPT® is looking for a strong Senior SQL DBA Contractor with extensive experience with legacy versions of the server and database; ideal candidates will have experience updating these tools. Initially, the project is slated to last 6 months. The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for designing database structures, writing scripts for database operations, monitoring database health, and troubleshooting issues. This particular role will focus on:
- INVESTIGATION: Writing and analyzing queries needs deep understanding of query estimates and indexing
- MANAGEMENT: Handling clustering, SQL versioning, and configuration
- Emphasis is on management experience, but skillset in investigation would be great addition
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Optimization: Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: troubleshoot issues, resolve errors, and maintain overall health
- Data Security: protect sensitive information, including access controls, encryption, and audits
- Database Design and Implementation
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SQL Server
- Server database design principles, data modeling
- Scripting languages (e.g.,
, ). * Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Role will be highly investigative, focused on troubleshooting
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Team will be split across units, region, etc.
- Would be helpful: Knowledge of older versions of SQL server ex: 2017 and upgrading to 2019 or 22′
